- “The supreme leader of Iran is more scared of American soft power than American hard power.”
Ayatollah Khamenei is “prepared to pay the price” to keep America out of Iran to prevent them “spreading democracy, spreading women’s rights”, explains professor of Iranian politics at Reichman University, Meir Javedanfar.

Using 50 years old Americans made helicopters and blaming Americans🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sanctions.😊
Iran should have spent money on new helicopters instead of exporting drones to Russia and Yemen……
Why don't they make their own , even the president have new ones, and most importantly why they running in complete 🌫fog is
They could have bought and used Russian or Chinese helicopters, no?
Xi would be happy to export some cheap helicopters to Iran.
@Patendyck76 if you blame sanctions for this failure on Iran's part you can blame sanctions when Iranians start to learn English and dump that silly Islam business 😂
He had blood on his hands. Those souls were crying day by day.
and what about Palestinians?

A mass murderer not being popular who would of thought 😂
These people are gathered by regime for the purpose when someone dies. They are family of Army personnel, the people called “Bassijies” . These are the people who shoot protesters in the eye.
Xi is popular
Xi is the greatest killer in the world currently
Slaughter of Uighurs, slavery, ethnic cleansing. Way worse than North Korea.. keep in mind all 3 of these countries are best friends
Would "have" thought.
Iranian people want change, freedom, and choices. Their leaders... not so much.
I have very good friends in Iran. It is shocking how far apart the regime and the people are. They are two completely worlds
To be a Western puppet...not!

not all Iranians, it looks like only 30% of Iranians want a different government the other 70% are good with this government, to have a revolution you do need 70% of people who want change. it is only Western propaganda that shows all the people of Iran want change.
Free Iran
They don't want to be freed
@@addamr2052not what ive seen .50000 mosques closed out of 75.000 speaks volumes .not long now and the regime will over .all oppressive regeims eventual fall .
Free you.
Free yourself.
If your whole system is under threat of collapse from people experiencing Western democracy, I would contend it's not very strong anway.
"I hadn't thought of it that way" (regarding the chances of democracy spreading to Iran) - really?? It is the thing all dictstors are MOST scared of, surely - Putain included. Partly of course because in at least 50% of cases, it spells not only the end of their reign, but their life....
In case you weren’t aware. Iran was like the US, or Mexico.. women wore jeans, didn’t have to dress with hijabs, they had religious freedoms- But then they Ayatollah got power and it all fell apart. You can watch old videos of Iran on UA-cam.
It is important to distinguish between the people and the leadership when mentioning a nation, as in the case of Iran. The whole of Iran includes the common citizen and most has been in an iron grip. The leadership is scared and with strong motivation since their methods are inhumane and cruel. Their people in the other hand are in a position to retake their country from their leadership if they are willing enough.
My heart goes out to the helicopter's family 😢 R.I.P

Look at the women. It's sad for them but they have no idea how good life can be!
They do because only a couple of generations ago they were fairly 'western'. Certainly women didn't wear the stuff they've been made to wear.
They had an amazing life in Iran until Am3ric4 overthrew the democratically elected government - so blame the right people...!!!
Yeah they can be as liberated as American women.sex objects
Remember the men and women you are seeing in this footage are the pro regime idiots, not the other 98% of Iranians who are dancing on the streets and offering sweets to public to celebrate the crash that killed Raisi the Butcher of Tehran, when in summer of 1988 he along with two other judges issued the orders of mass execution of between5000 to 30,000 political prisoners. Raisi on Iranian TV admitted that he had signed off the killing of 3000 and he was very proud of that record and said the country should give him a medal! Amnesty International has confirmed at least 5000 political prisoners being murdered by the deaths squad judges (Raisi and two other judges). The families of the executed political prisoners to this day have never received the bodies of their loved ones. We know they must be hiding the bodies of the 30,000 killed in secret mass graves, one mass grave (Khavaran) was accidentally discovered and now has walls around it so people cannot access it. As Iranians, we urge the governments of UK, Germany, France, Italy, Canada and Australia to classify the Khameni's private armies (IRGC and the Basij militias) as terrorist entities and prevent companies and financial institutions owned and controlled by IRGC from engaging in commerce, investments and any type of financial transactions, just like USA has, if EU and Canada cooperate with with the Iranian opposition we will topple this regime and get rid of this public menace, but we cannot do that so long as EU, UK and Canada shield the terrorist IRGC and Khamenei.
They are paid mourners, fake as fk
Well said professor.
As someone pointed out, if the Iranian system is so delicate that it cannot withstand a few people with their ideas, then it isn't very robust. I mean the American system is under enormous stress testing right now on all fronts from what one might classify as anti-American soft power influences even from within the government. We will have to see if they can hold together - but could any other country have remained standing this long?
"Flux" is not EXACTLY the word I was thinking of to describe Iran
Sounds similar to another word!!
Ya fukcs
Ah yes the 2 Islamist emotions: anger and sadness.
You lot just do not understand that many of these are paid mourners, its a cultural norm.
Not a cultural norm, the regime pays or force some people to mourn
@@yogi8010 In the Islamic supplemental literature called the Hadith, I'm going to copy paste two (there are others) on this matter:
Narrated Ibn 'Umar from his father: The Prophet said, "The deceased is tortured in his grave for the wailing done over him."
Narrated Shu'ba: The deceased is tortured for the wailing of the living ones over him .
and
It was narrated that Umm 'Atiyyah said: "When I wanted to give pledge to the Messenger of Allah, I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, women helped me (in wailing for the dead) during the Jahiliyyah; shall I go and help her (in wailing) and then come to you and give you my oath of allegiance?' He said: 'Go and help her.' So I went and helped her, then I came, and gave my pledge to the Messenger of Allah."
So it does seem to be a cultural norm and I do not doubt that there aren't paid professional wailers in the crowd. And to be honest, I have to agree with the Prophet's opinion *so long as it is against people paid to wail over the dead.*
More crocodile tears than a Bayou swamp

@@mandanaaryanpur what I said is the reality and you know it. I live in Iran and it’s common knowledge that in events such as this the regime organize and gather people from different cities, provides free commute and food to gather as many people as it can to show the world that people of Iran support this blood thirsty regime. About time!
Ebrahim Raisi, the former president of Iran who died in a helicopter crash, was indeed a brutal and ruthless figure known for his role in mass executions and violent crackdowns on dissent.
As a young cleric in 1988, Raisi served on the "death committees" that ordered the executions of thousands of political prisoners, earning him the moniker "the butcher." He proudly defended these killings as "divine punishment" and a "proud achievement."
During the 2019 protests over fuel price hikes, Raisi, then head of the judiciary, played a central role in the violent suppression that left at least 1,500 protesters dead.
As president from 2021, he oversaw a harsh crackdown on the 2022 protests sparked by Mahsa Amini's death in custody, with over 500 killed and 22,000 arrested.
Raisi strictly enforced the mandatory hijab laws, with morality police brutally targeting women like Amini for perceived violations.
His presidency was marked by an emboldened stance against the U.S., further uranium enrichment, and a major missile attack on Israel in 2023.
Raisi rose through the ranks as a hardline protege of Supreme Leader Khamenei, who facilitated his path to the presidency by disqualifying opposition candidates.
His reputation for lethal repression made him a divisive figure both domestically and internationally.
Iranians should see this as a chance for change. This is their chance
In every video of coverage ive watched on this situation, ive seen so much crying but not 1 single tear. Lots of people wiping dry eyes and dry noses and lots of hands covering faces but not 1 tear
It seems Allah has sent a message to Iran. Peace is better than tyranny.
I think they haven’t opened the mail box yet
Ali Khamenei is also a tyrant. Raisi was his puppet.
Regime change in Iran would be very welcome by the Iranian Citizens. They want the freedom they had under the Shaw.
And what should Hezbollah, Hamas and Houthis do? Nobody thinks of them !
Freedom costs a buck o five

You'll never leave other countries alone to run their affairs, without wanting them crush..never!
Iran doesn't fear America. Iran knows what America can do they know
Best for Iranians!

According to china's foreign minister, Raisi was a good friend of the iranian people and a role model for the younger iranian generation. What a downfall for the china's international diplomacy!
Hypocrisy
Flying low in a helicopter in bad weather is always dangerous. I suppose the Iranians didn't get the news about Kobe Bryant's accident.
Mourning the loss of a perfectly good helicopter. My condolences to the Iranian people.
Thoughts it was "just" a hard landing.....?
Harry the Homeless Guy at the microphone yet again.
This will help isolate those in power, from the rest. A handful crying in the village square, while millions rejoice, all around them.
They are afraid of their own people!
It is significant that not one GCC country has declared a mourning period. Rafsanjani got three days - years after his presidency ended. Iran is not seen as a good neighbour.
Iran and the Iranian people are awesome. As in every country it's the leadership! Just heard a really interesting interview with Nixon. He said the American people and the Russian people could and should be friends, but that the two governments couldn't be because their ends and means are contrary to each other.
It is time for all people everywhere to start pushing our governments to advocate for peace. Can you imagine if all countries on earth could stop funding their military. Imagine what could be accomplished with those young men and women, not to mention the money.
Bunch of weirdos!
My thoughts exactly
Stone age species

Welp it is becoming clear what happened in that chopper crash. Sounds like this pilot helped out the Iranians by listening to that guy.

This says it all. All these women covered in black. In mourning for a murdering despot
Iran has to maintain themselves, as the Shia Capital of the Shia world at all cost. They have no choice.
Iran needs what we have in US, “Seperation of church and State”. Under the Shah Iran was making changes that were good for Iran. If Ishmael was not fit to inherit why now do we have to deal with his founding !!
Curious: what's the soft power of Iran? Who's going crazy worldwide for Iranian culture and love of the form of government in Iran (other than Terry Wrist)?
Iran has ashamed itself that it has no capabilities of aerial Search & Rescue operation, but had to seek help from Turkey .
Then how can Iran threaten USA, when they can't satisfy basic domestic needs of their country with VIP choppers being >3 decades old? Simply surprising as a clear case of leadership with wrong priorities🤦

I bet you the Iranian people are probably just like us.
They just need to muster up the courage to demand free and fair elections.

Yeah, U.S. sanctions has left them living in the 1970's ever since the attack on the U.S. Embassy...all from soft power too...every time Iran tries something the U.S. slaps it down with soft power!!!
Look - even the Americans know they can't get rid of EVERY government around the world which irks them.....

So because the British (and many others) made mistakes 100 years + ago, Iran gets to oppress people now.
Democracy = men giving into each other from the back; I don’t think Iran’s would except that 😅
