Anson Mount is fantastic on Strange New Worlds. He is my favorite Trek captain since Patrick Stewart.

Maybe it's just me but Mount would have made a great Batman. He's got the Bruce Wayne look, handsome, charming and mild mannered and can switch to menacing/ threatening in an instant.
He's been my pick for an older Superman for a hot minute

It's crazy to me just how much we're finding out about behind the scenes stuff concerning Smallville and the actors who tested for both Clark and Lex! The what ifs are endless!

Okay, these are 3 guys who are good friends comparing war stories. Now all they need is a beer in the hand. This was cool to see. Anson you need to get both Tom and Michael on to ST: Strange New Worlds some how as guest stars for a couple of episodes. Make them either ex-Academy buddies or pure villains. It could work.
Tom could come on as Superman from an alternate universe. And Lex finds out he's on the ship and shows up to kill him.
If Micheal had the Lex Makeup, he hardly would look any older.

@@kindabatooni9314 Nowadays he’s Blackbolt for Marvel and Captain Pike on Star Trek. He was also on Hell on Wheels. But before 10 years ago, yeah. No idea who he was. I didn’t even remember him appearing on Smallville.
@@D21BeastReviews Is he in the Marvel TV shows? I don’t watch everything Marvel only the characters I care about which mainly Doctor Strange and Avengers.
@@kindabatooni9314 Well. If you saw Doctor Strange 2, you saw his most recent appearance as Blackbolt. But he also played Blackbolt on the ABC Inhumans show from a few years back. Crazy that they actually brought him back for Multiverse of Madness. But before Inhumans I didn’t know who Mount was. I never watched Hell On Wheels.
@@D21BeastReviews I watched Doctor Strange 2 in cinemas multiple times. So he was one of the illuminati? I didn’t care much for them apart from professor X which explains why I don’t know who he is.Thanks for answering my questions.

Anson Mount is awesome. I always think of Tully, my favorite indie movie of all time, when I see or hear about him, and then there the cover is right behind him. I'm a big Sam Rockwell fan too so seeing them together in Mr. Right was a treat. Anson played a great bad guy.
Anson would make a good Batman

In all these years I have seen Anson Mount act on screen, I have NEVER seen him smile or laugh ever! This is so strange! lol He should do it more often. Now I know I said I want to see him smile more often but I would love to see him play Doctor Doom or Batman. lol
He smiles a good deal on Strange New Worlds - and he is indeed very good at it.

yeah I could definitely see Anson as a older version of lex luthor😮 I always thought after Smallville we would have got a present and lex luthor revive episode because the final season was always mentioning the future like 2020 something where lex was president... Even the guy Zachary from Shazam who played Chuck from the show Chuck even said to this so many shows like Smallville that is no longer making episodes they could always come back for some streaming event.. that's why I wouldn't be surprised if a few years from now we'll see like some Grant Gustin flash revive episode because even Grant Gustin said at an interview with entertainment weekly that he wouldn't be surprised if he comes back as the flash someday.. he even said it too if he ever gets a phone call to come back as the flash either on a TV show or on a movie he would say yes
It really speaks well of Anson that he didn't want to say for the record that he had been offered the role of Lex Luthor before Michael was. Classy guy.
