I just did this with a 71 convertible: Tip---try to make sure the hood latch spacing is correct...I put the hood on later (didn't test fit) and it was really a PITA to get the hood to latch up smoothly...there is really very limited options in latch placement and adjustment...👍
Madstiles I was looking at my front apron, the super beetle is a little more awkward. Yes it does look intimidating to me I’m not very good at fabricating, and lining things up. But I guess I will learn. LOL
@@MadStiles No worries. the bottom half wasnt to bad, but it was in a accident and the original molding was warped after I sanded it all down, so I said screw it i will just buy that whole new piece.
