Because the Vikings have a policy on extensions, that the extensions are to be done July 31st or after
its a business move they do so they can replenish their cash quickly once the gates start hitting in the preseason/season

Not at all concerned, I think they probably have an agreement in place. JJ has likely been made aware of the extension policy
JJ has dropped hints that a deal is in place and he's not worried about it.

Care to guess the interest the Vikings will get on say a 20 mil sigining bonus that sits in their account for another month and a half? JJ will get his money if for no other reason he fills seats in every stadium he plays in. Simple business tells you to pay the assets that make you money in return. JJ's ROI include butts in the seats, wins on the field, jersey and memorabelia sales, and easier signings of FAs who want to play with a legend. It's a win-win for both the team and JJ. Plus, he's just now entering his prime years at 24. I'll let your own imagination run with that fact!

We need to get Jefferson's extension done now. We need him practicing with Darnold and McCarthy. If we don't want to pay signing bonuses until July 31st than write the contract that way.
From what I've seen the receivers aren't really running routes anyway, so timing isn't an issue yet.

@@RednGone I'm talking about the sooner Jefferson comes in the better. He needs to develop "chemistry" with Darnold and McCarthy. You're confident he will be extended pretty soon. I'm not. I expect him to agree to an extension, but who knows when. I'm confident the Vikings have offered more money than any other receiver has ever earned. I wish JJ would just sign, but he wants every last penny and condition to be better than any other non QB has ever received. He can do that if he wants, but it's not in his best interest IMO and it's certainly not in the best interests of his team.
@@RednGone IMO he has a fair offer on the table, but getting every last possible penny and condition in the contract is what matters most to him. It's his right to do that. I just think it's a mistake.
3 QBs (and maybe even 4) will 100% be on the roster with the new emergency QB rule. Remember you can keep a QB on your roster and not count towards the 53…
Plus you got to see if chase and lamb signs to pay Jefferson what he deserves

We have not addressed interior O-line nor D-line....the game is won in the trenches ...tired of Bradbury getting knocked back into the QB and Ingram getting swatted out of the way ..yea they made progress but hardly elite...D Line...Phillips is a hard worker but undersized ..anyone else ??

Justin Jefferson is already a done deal. How would it benefit the Vikings by releasing the structure and dollar amount right now? Jefferson will be present for mandatory training. Take it to the bank! As for a signing, get Connor Williams.

Get rid of Hall and keep Mullens. Hall stinks and needs more attention than Nick Mullens does giving up on Mullens is a stupid idea he can throw for over 300 yards per game and if you have to use him for a game you will be fine Hall doesn't have the it factor
