We're so stubborn when it comes to signing interior offensive line..and ppl saying Risner wasn't that good but when we got him and was playing we thought he was great. Pretty sure he didn't give up 1 sack his whole time starting. Brandel isn't the worst but Risner is definitely overall better.
Jefferson needs to get his contract together. Leadership will come when they give him his bag 🎒. Don't know what the Vikings are waiting for? It would've been much cheaper last year. It gets more expensive every day
@@JohnnyUtah-71 I'm sure it's a different moon than last year since all these other WRs have gotten paid. They should've gotten it done last year. I'm sure in hindsight last year's moon wasn't that bad. It gets worse with every new deal. It's got to be more than 34 now. Let Chase get his deal. Then it'll have to be more than 38. The price is going up every day.
@@randallmorgan6697 Exactly and that's why JJ's agent is strategically waiting for someone like Chase to jack up the market. It's in Kwesi's hands so we'll all have to wait and see. I bet the deal happens a couple of days prior to training camp.
We can franchise tag Darnold if he has a great season & trade him for picks him & new team can work out contract as part of the trade. In that what if scenario
I'm pretty sure franchise tag requires you to pay average of the top 5 QBs. No matter what kind of year he has he's not worth that to us or another team.
@@brett6314 Yes, but they could just offer him an extension without tagging him. The question for the Vikes would be how much they are prepared to pay to buy the likely picks that he is likely to return, especially if Darnold plays well and wins the division and or a playoff game. $15m for a 2nd and 4th? $20m for a 1st?
7:35 Asinine. TJ was a real team player last year faking injuries / illness in Training Camp. And how is getting multiple day two picks, plus saving $15 million+ on the cap stepping on the Lion's dick? Since they got a TE at the same level as TJ on the cheap?
Vikings sitting on an underdeveloped #2 overall pick, who is still only 25. Who knows, at this point, if something doesn't click with Sam. How great would that be? I say this not to the exclusion of JJ McCarthy. What a great problem to have if Darnold leads the Vikings to win some games, and you have McCarthy developing behind him. Injuries happen, so McCarthy would be ready to step in, if necessary.
Folks sleeping on Darnold. Everything that people say about McCarthy is also true for Darnold - he has a great arm, moves well in the pocket, runs well, will benefit from KOCs playcalling, and the great roster. Darnold could easily win the NFC North. I think PA is 100% on the money re Darnold.
Delton. Love you man, and I do .... but i'm sticking to my guns. If he doesn't see the field year 1 i'm just fine with it. If he starts week 1, I would be just fine with that too. SKOL
Where is the crap coming from? Vikings are going to have a top 10, maybe top 5 defense. Even with Darnold, a 500 record should be expected. Darnold would have to lose us games on his own to do worse.
@@robe2504 So, AGAIN, anyone who doesn't share your view of how the Vikings should operate needs to resign their fandom? Good Lord you must be a real joy to be around in day-to-day affairs! With your know-it-all blah, blah, blah ad nauseum.
Darnold brings athleticism and a strong arm…let’s see what he can do ????
I hope Cine has been saving his money?

I hope Darnold does well. With that being said, I believe JJ will be starting by week 7 or 8. SKOL!
In 2025.
Its hard for Jefferson to be seen as a team leader when with a new QB he should be building some familiarity with him.
On the other hand it gives the new QBs some space to build relationships with the other players.

@@randallmorgan6697 I don't think the Vikings are waiting on purpose. I'd bet JJ and his agent are asking for the MOON!

With reference to Darnold… you WOULDN’T want to sip a beer every time the man said “Um”. 😂😂🤯😢😬
If Darnold were to "ball out" this season, it wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility that we extend Sam and let JJ continue to marinate.
Thanks for the nuggets fellas....well done.

That would be the ideal outcome for the Vikes. Darnold is just as set up for success as McCarthy.

The Vikings could and should put the Transition tag on Darnold if he has a great year with the intention of trading him.
Darnold never had any weapons around him like he does now, it's a prove it year for him
Darnold will start the year he’s the betting favorite for a reason if you bet on JJ starting right away you’re throwing away money

Darnold makes s play at the probowl this year
The Kool-Aid is flowing
The fact that the reporter is reporting a dropped snap like its a sign of something seems silly.
I think Rouse is still a shot at LG, maybe even Jurgens, and Feeney is a sound backup.
One bar,.. bro. McCarthy was the tenth pick. He needs to be held to a higher standard.

I agree. That made to order Flores D could be a top 5 group.
Seem like there has been more injuries in the QB position in the late few years, Jj has to be ready to go from day 1
How does Justin Jefferson feel about who starts.
He'll be all in after catching a few rockets from Darnold. Darnold got DJ Moore a good deal at the Bears.
C’mon Viking fans these are OTA’s not a big deal .
Trade Mullins, our 3 should be Darnold, McCarthy and Hall.
I think JJ is one of the few rookies that took any snaps from under centre at college - that will be a new experience for Caleb, Maye, Daniels etc.
Trade Jefferson, please 🙏
Why on this earth would you want to do that
Find another team please. This podcast is for Vikes fans.
