    Very good job. It gets better and better as I watch these cabinets.
    I wish you had spent some time showing us how the final doors work and hinge section, open up the cabinet at the end. That was frustrating. Finished pictures show how each piece looks once assembled and very necessary.
    The concept is brilliant, thank you!

    • @PawPawsWorkShop
      @PawPawsWorkShop  5 місяців тому

      The concept of the hinge is very simple. I just use a spacer underneath the hinge that I cut out on the CNC. The pin at the bottom is 1/2”. Same thickness as the plywood hinge. The pin at the top must be longer. You will need about 1 1/8” long which allows the door panel to be removed. Hope this helps

    I'm in the process of doing a major reorg of space in my 2-car garage shop and decided that your awesome storage cabinet would feature prominently in replacing the 5'x7' Rubbermaid shed which used to store all of my small tools and supplies but was taking up much needed floor space.
    So I built a dividing wall out of 2x4s and plywood panels (8'x8') and the 5ft x 2.5ft x 17" storage cabinet now hangs on one side of that wall on the upper part of the wall. I can now put my jointer, thickness planer, benchtop drill press and soon to be acquired drum sander, all on mobile bases, under the storage cabinet. I think when I'm finished loading it, most of the stuff previously housed in the Rubbermaid shed will fit into the new cabinet.
    Awesome design sir! You continue to inspire me.

    you're timing is impeccable! I have a wall that I was designing for tool storage. My area for hanging the cabinet is slightly larger approximately 9' long, but I was looking thru videos to see what others have created. I need to maximize the space and this design is perfect for what I am looking to do. I love the Hinge Idea. Time to break out the Shapeoko and get to cutting!!

    I am for sure going to make 2 of these for hand tools and other things like saw blades . I hate tool boxes and drawers because I always find my self opening multiple drawers to find things

    I want to know how you are going to remove the tools in the right corner of the bottom of the cabinet, the screw drivers. just yanking your chain. but it does look like they are trapped.

    • @PawPawsWorkShop

      Yes, they are trapped. There new home will be inside the cabinet

    Nice build, I might try that. Great design & strong build.
    Have you tried Odd Leg staples? Angled points make the staple legs go opposite directions, instant skew nailing!
    PS. I can't find the link for your dust mask ??

    How big would the brackets have to be to hold 4x8 pegboards

    • @PawPawsWorkShop
      @PawPawsWorkShop  Рік тому

      I do not think this will work for a 4x8 pegboard. The weight most likely will be to great to support on the pivot points
