I used an R.T.G for unloading rail I enjoyed operating it but there was not much thought in buying it and all we were doing was double handling.. We had straddles and did not block stack ports with R.T.G NEED TO BLOCK STACK .
good instructions I did this same kind of job for ten years before retiring. The only thing that got changed was the driver had to be out of the cab and away from the action. When loading because a couple of drivers tried to drive away before the RTG was fully unhooked from container.

Get them made by an engineering company. That's what the port I worked for did for unloading fertilizer and similar stuff
