Hello George, one day I hope to be a dudette for a day, I think I can identify some fossils now 😀. I'm sure the head dudette would have a great time with me😁.
This is in the section of the geologic column that's a bit hard to pin down. The Duck Creek / Fort Worth doesn't really have defined border. You can see most of the Duck Creek in the old cement pit north of loop 820 next to Old Decatur rd. I believe the top most part of the pit might be Fort Worth. There's a thin blue zone that has produced "Goniophorus". This is the locality that the Wisconsin paleo club discovered 5 or 6 large share centrums about 4 inches across and wrote a paper on.
@@northtexasfossildude I'm not a UA-camr and don't have a pro camera but I pieced together a very short video just so my friends and family can see what I see in the field.
Hello I've been watching your videos and I am amazed at the fossils that you find I just moved to jacksboro from Indiana and would love to go hunting with you sometime soon or even if you could point me in the right direction thank you!!!!
My apologies on the late response. Haven't check my UA-cam in awhile. Send me an email at geor682003@gmail.com and I will let you know when we go out. Thanks for watching
@@northtexasfossildude Thanks, Dude. I live in Justin and have gone out right behind our home where they are working and I have found a few fossils. Do not know the names of them though. Do you know of a book to find out what they are? This is so much fun; I've dragged my youngest granddaughter out with me and I think I may have her hooked! I just need to find out what to look for and the names of 'em.

Hey...not meaning to be rude...but I have a dinosaur head and vertebrae in my possession.... Plus piece of a foot and other things. Need someone to come take a look at these things. Here's a taste ..
Y’all had a super good day! Two of my favorite things to hunt are a echinoids and ammonites! Great finds!
Thanks Sherri!
I'm so jealous you live in such an amazing place that you can find all these fossils so easily!
Thanks for watching. Yes, very fortunate. Texas is a great place for fossils.
That baby "Holaster" is sweet. The ones I usually find are split, squished or peeled so anything inflated with details is a score.
It was a really cool finds. Almost perfect. Detail is fantastic though.
Great finds! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Jean!

Do you use a Dremel to clean up your fossils?
Yes, Dremmel engraver for the fine detail. Pencil chisel for the thicker stuff. A 2.5 sledge and different chisels for the harder stuff.
