That woman you said that had anemia, adrenal issues and thyroid issues with digestive problems... 👋 hi that's me.... Haha I really need your help. This was an amazing video... deffinately the best I have seen.
i have a friend with a history of lyme disease, which i knew nothing about when he told me, few years later after long suffering he is just like a regular guy, has a family, girlfriend, he said the main thing that cured him was his mindset..of course he was given some sort of vitamins and stuff intravenously, i dont know about the details but there is something about the mind that really determines whether you heal or not..
kipupking migut be the vagal nerve which has a huge part in digestion and producing HCL, low HCL I believe is the main cause of sibo and why it reoccurs
You talk about supporting the adrenals - do you have any information on how to do that? I suffer with SIBO and I have an underlying adrenal "emergency" with test levels all in the red zone. My stress response is off the chain. Thanks so much for your helpful video. It's like solving a mystery to have SIBO!
This is my story as well. Three years with a natural path and 68 months with Dr. Rostonberg Red Mountain Clinic but I’m still just not feeling better and feel like I’m missing something so I’m going to Dr. Justin on the 22nd
Awesome video - despite all my research, this is the first time I've heard of SIBO being potentially caused by a parasite. Thank you so much for this - I was wondering if this was possible, but haven't been tested for parasites myself. Thank you again - what types of parasites have you seen in your practice of treating SIBO? You mention Entamoeba histolytica: are there any others?
Have anyone had food intolerance( Gluten, dairy, nuts, egg, soy, corn) pop up because of SIBO and got cured completely. Is Vitaminb12 deficiency a result of SIBO as well?
ragu yes in the Gi map test it can show if you are gluten sensitive which i was and b12 was low due to long term use of anti acid ....still being treated. And yes it’s possible to be sensitive to all or some of the above you just need to listen to your body’s response to certain food is key to healing! But if you have sibo you’ll need a specific diet like low fodmap diet Low B12 , d3 , zinc, anaemia can cause sibo Also antibiotics, anti acids, low bile ( ox bile enzyme needed ) poor pancreas, gallbladder finally poor blood sugar and liver all causes sibo and other pathogenic bacteria
Great video dr Marchegiani! Many research prove the correlation between SIBO and fibromyalgia. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you! BTW, do you have Italian origins?
Good info, please step to the side of the whiteboard when presenting so that we can actually see what you are sharing, very difficult to follow otherwise. This would greatly improve the viewer experience.
Curious if you think Sibo causes fatty liver issues or Fatty liver causing Sibo due to the fact that the Liver aids in pH balance in the gut and digestion.
In case of having an underlying infection that causes SIBO like a parasite or h. pylori. Is there a chance to get rid of the SIBO without any intervention, but just by fighting h. pylori? I´ve read about h. pylori slowing down the MMC...
Perhaps this works for some individuals but I am the living proof that diet is key in exactly the opposite direction you mention here. I was doing a ketogenic diet for a year in order to heal Chron´s disease and SIBO. This helped but it only kept SIBO at a maintenance level. Once the patient can tolerate carbs the body naturally asks for a high carb low fat vegan diet in order to actually heal. But in my personal experience and watching other people heal, low carb diets such as ketogenic dietary recommendations only work at a maintenance level, reducing symptoms but not healing.
yea but a patient cannot adress the issue of carbohydrates intolerance without adressing the SIBO first if you managed to, guess what, you never had metabolic issues, just symptons of methane this is where vegans gets overly excited, its because they can metabolise sugar just fine for most people, they have weakened adrenals, poor sugar metabolism, poor stomach acid, insulin resistance so on they have to adress SIBO before adressing these issues, they cannot adress carbohydrates metabolism first
I started getting Sibo symptoms after a period of intense stress & anxiety. It also followed a 10 day green smoothie detox. Could either one of these have triggered Sibo?
The most thing I put in mouth and eat seems to go in and cause big troubles in my jaws, are that sibo ? someone told me that it was that, but I know I got candida, are that the same ?
what about low stomach acid ? Using ACV has helped me, HCL/pepsin supplement. Low stomach acid allows for over growth. For me low carb + stress at work has possibly played a part. But, I now feel wheat gluten does amplify my SIBO/GERD symptoms
this video is great. I had a laparoscopic surgery 3 years ago to fix a hiadal hernia. The first week after the surgery I had a my first episode of Sibo. I didn't know it at the time I was finally diagnosed with sibo a month later. Since then I have been prescribed Flagyl. I take it whenever I have an episode which is several times a year. I've addressed the issue nutritionally to no avail. My suspicion is that it stems from the mesh that was placed during surgery but I have found no doctor to help me deduce the underlying cause. I usually get a RX for flagyl and im sent on my way. It is something I have learned to live with but it is difficult as I become very dehydrated and it is very painful and debilitating.
Yes, we may need to supplement with ox bile, but nearly always plant & pancreatin (animal based) enzymes (Now brand plant or Super). Lots of people are very short on Hydrochloric acid (betaine) for the stomach.. It's that acid that kills a lot of microbes before they even reach the small intestines.
How long would you suggest doing the "kill bacteria" phase? Is it possible to do this without pre/pro biotics in the end to repopulate the gut or is this a necessity? If its possible i would rather set up a mealplan very heavy in fodmaps but im not sure if this works if there is no good bacteria there to feed in the first place (hopefully i somehow can tolerate fodmaps slightly better after killing the bacteria, so i dont feel like dying eating it lol, like in the past. I'm gonna do this at some point anyways and try my luck ! .)
Hi! I was just recently tested positive for sibo. I am 19 years old and have been gluten free for 2 years now due to feeling sick while eating it. All I eat is raw fruits and veggies and don't eat meat, and no dairy either...because it makes me feel sick. My gi dr. Before getting this test told me to start a low fodmap diet, which was what my diet had been always without even realizing. I just started the antibiotic pills this week, but I am worried this will come back as he had warned me and I would like to prevent it. Or if there is another "underlying" issue besides just this. What kind of diet would you suggest I look into more? or vitamins/supplements to take? I really do not like taking prescription drugs, natural remedies are more up my ally and seam to make more sense to me. Thanks ! Great video, I am going to show my dr. Next time I go in!
Gianna Fiola hey. I'm 19 years old as well and have been suffering from this for almost a year now. Just wondering if you've had any success from the antibiotics. I'm now taking rifaximin and I swear it's making me worse. Thanks
Destiny Boddy, I know just how you feel about being bloated. I guess I should be happy about the GI problems I had every single morning with terrible cramping being gone now, but to still be 50 pounds over weight something else must be wrong, I see my GI doctor at the end of the month but I can bet he will say "it just takes time" I am slowly getting back to my 3 mile power walks and lifting weights but I am sure you know how uncomfortable it is to live your regular life when you are bloated and haven't eaten more than a hard boiled egg and a piece of chicken. Destiny, you do need to eat something because you can be having a reaction to low blood sugar. I hate to even look at food now but we must put something in our body for nutritional value. You don't say if your GI problems went away? Have you ever had the 4 hour nuclear eating test? That was one of the last tests I had to see if I had a paralyze stomach, I almost want it just to know what was wrong. If they have ruled that out for you than I think we get back to one another to see if the bloated has gone down. I know how frustrated you must be as I also feel your pain.
Patsy Scott most definitely. And I actually have the test on Monday. And I can definitely relate as I can feel my stomach blowing up as I eat even a banana for breakfast. And my weight problems seem to be quiet the opposite. Wishing you a speedy recovery
I've been showing symptoms of sibo. would it be possible for me to have gotten sibo from too much pro biotic like cultured nut cheeses and fermented oats? I've been eating a lot lately over a few months. ... also I might have eaten a coconut that went bad. could that have anything to do with anything?
Hi doctor, Thank you so much for the Video. I don't know what I have after diverticulitis surgery I started to have a ton of stool problems? My surgery over two year and one month. The past 8 months I have been suffering with a lot of pain and inflammation in my stomach, colon and kidney and my stool changed from very hard stool to a creamy stool?? All the symptoms about SIBO explain I may have it?? None of the many .... many .... doctors including my family doctor mentioned anything about SIBO? No blood test, I did so many of them, CT scan, and stool culture can show anything about SIBO. So I am trying to find out what I have?? And what should I do where I start, because every doctor I seen so far they told me depression?? My inflammation in the morning is so bad and now my hand and my feed started to have inflammation?? I am open to any advice. Thank you,
I had Helikobakter-Pylori about 2 months ago. It was found through a camera inserted into my gut. I took this triple therapy. 3 pills, 4 times a day for 10 days. I felt better for about 3 weeks until about 2 weeks now. My doctor wants to do another camera viewing of my gut to see if H. Pylori is still present. The Sibo symptoms I have been getting for the past couple of days. Could I possibly have Sibo now aswell?

But Can I do the elemental diet powder for one week with the drink powder and not eat anything but take oregano essential oil, tyme e oil, Rosemary e oil in olive oil and it be successful. It was a one week supply at $50. Ugh. Please help. I need your help. Thanks. Love your videos so much! Your amazing.
Hi justin I have a question. I was diagnosed with methane SIBO. My Nautropath has me on a berberine complex 2 caps 3x a day. Oil of oregano 500 mg 3 times a day as well and Neem 1 cap 3x a day. Plus she has me on a high intensity probiotic called HCL synbiotic Intensive. It didnt make sense to me since all these are antimicorbials. Why is she making me take probiotics and antibiotics at the same time? Is it safe? Effective?
source1st you’re on the right path. Probiotics to feed the food whilst the bad get eliminated. You don’t want to cause too much trouble, so keep both sides happy. Not too extreme

I am trying to find a solution for Rosacea... should I be following a autoimmune paleo or low fodmap / sibo diet.. I've stopped sugar, diary gluten, processed foods so far... it's improved but I still have redness and pimples.
Rosacea is generally inflammation (auto-immune etc) & detox reactions. Something is still hitting your system.... I'm not the doctor, but I'd go FODMAP & also check the bloodtype diet no no foods because that one catches the protein lectins we react to. It's not as strait forward as the FODMOP but it will definitely catch some foods that really need to be recognized - watched for. Like for me feel much better with no pork, avocado's or coconut...
Some times probiotics with killing can make sense if there is a lot of digestive distress, it can help improve tummy inflammation. The herbs sound good though!
I have been getting Nexium and similar meds for reflux. And while they help with heartburn, they did not help with the pain in my chest. When I stopped taking them after a few months I felt eorse than ever before but it's better now. Is it possible that many people get meds against acid but it's actually not helping or even making things worse?
The meds actually are getting rid of the acid needed. Problem is that reflux is caused (ironically) by too little acid. Then, you get a surge of it. Nexium and Prevacid make you feel better while on it, but are actually doing more harm. Also, if you have candida and stop eating carbs, as they die the let off neurotoxins that make you feel crappy. It's called a healing crisis. There are things that can help avoid the die off symptoms (like bad headaches, bloating...) - Molybdenum chelate. Search the candida forum for more info. I used to get a severe pain in my chest. A doctor recommended sugery (gallbladder). I never had the surgery after I started taking Betain HCL and the pain left.

Guaranteed you are deficient in Vitamin D too. Get comprehensive blood work done. I like Blue Bonnet Vit D at 4,000 IU a day till your levels are regained.
I find these videos really helpful and useful! I really want to have a consultation, however i'm from England which means i'm unable to fill out the form online. I was wondering if there is an alternative way I can arrange it? I have struggled with sibo for 2 years now and have struggled with gerd for 6 years. I am only 20 years old and am unsure as to whether the cause could be from taking loestrin which i reacted quite badly to, or an underlying problem with my pancreas because I seem to be really struggling to digest food. I've lost a lot of weight and its making me depressed so I need a solution or plan as soon as possible.
Hi DuffDaze. I have SIBO now and i am having a good response taking ACV apple Cider Vinegar 2X a day with water ( tsp) also oil of oregano liquid from Wellness 1 drop 2X a day. Before i wastaking so many stuff that really didn't help me at all. I wish you good luck!!! Anna

Best video I've seen of the back of somebody's head.

Um, fructose is a monosaccharide!!! Time to go back to organic chem, mister.
What about using food grade charcoal?
You also have to massage the ileocecal valve
What do you think of probiotic enemas? Thanks.

Doc...love your videos...HINT though...Slide your head to the right....!! +))
