+moimoi1967 Je vous trouve bien sévère envers ce jeune pianiste qui, vous ne le savez peut-être pas, est aveugle de naissance ce qui déjà , en soi, rend son exécution une performance. Et puis on n'est pas ici dans l'univers de Debussy dont la musique est en effet une atmosphère, alors que la musique de Ravel, de mon point de vue, est moins expressive que celle de Debussy. Mais tous cela est une question de ressenti personnel. En tout cas il faut saluer la très bonne interprétation de ce jeune pianiste en dépit de son handicap. Amicalement.

Mr. Nobuyuki Tsujii learns everything by ear (he used to read music braille when such scores were available to him, ie relatively short and easy), as we can easily see that he does have a great hearing beyond our imagination as well as incredible capabilities to understand it, memorize it and play it with precision and love for the piano! Totally amazing.
