Morissette fans: RELAX!!!! I'm aware of how big she is now, but I have close musician friends who have still never heard of her! It's not anybody's fault. And yes, Mori deserves ALL the accolades. My Immortal was literally Morissette taking requests on a live stream and sitting cross legged on her bed with a keyboard. What other artists do that? I guess people may have expected you to start with a more professionally produced song like her iconic classics on the Wish Bus such as Akin Ka Na Lang, Never Enough, RIse Up and many more. Wish Bus is a radio station in the Philippines with studio quality equipment, but performances are done live with no auto-tune. Akin Ka Na Lang was written by Kiko Salazar for Morissette to sing. Mori is now co-writing her own songs with her husband Dave Lamar. They have put out 2 EPs - Signature and From the Sea with 9 terrific songs in total. Please check check them out!

I also have a segment, Focus Of The Week, in which one artist gets more reaction videos daily to focus on their music. SOME people like it, some don't. I wish she'd do a wellpracticed version on wishbus and it would undoubtedly be amazing. Thank you for appreciating her worldclass talent.

Hi Angel. I'm the one that suggested you listen to Babymetal. I also told you Morissette had a few tricks up her sleeve. You just listened to one of the songs that displays most of her tricks all in one songs. She does what we tend to call squeaks which she did a couple of times in this song. I think the first squeak you missed, but the second squeak you kind of looked a bit like what was that? And I think you brushed it off as she a voice crack or something so you didn't much comment on it. You should also take note that before she hit the REALLY high note (called a whistle note), she had already been holding another note for a number of seconds. The total time for both notes (she did not take a breath inbetween if you'll notice) was over 10 seconds (I believe it was 12 to 14 seconds). She does it again where she starts almost showing off and just having fun and does a full run for over 10 seconds again shortly after that. Morissette truly is a master of her craft. Anyhow, don't listen to what people say about you and criticizing you on your choice of first listenings. Firstly, how are you to know if a performance is a good or bad performance? Second, who cares! Seeing her perform at home in a home setting is just as interesting as seeing her perform in the wish bus and in concert. It is just as interesting, maybe more so as it is more "ghetto" or homemade and less manufactured. You get an idea of what she sounds like without studio adjustments. Now when you hear her on the wish bus you can tell she sounds the same (just better quality sound setup and therefore better sound), and you can appreciate what she brings to the table even more now!
Anyhow, gotta get some sleep, but great reaction, again, and look forward to seeing your reaction to Morissette's Could you be Messiah and also to Babymetal! I think you are really going to get a kick out of them! When you do decide to try them out, like I said before, I'd suggest doing a live performance, and I'd try and start with their earlier stuff like Catch me if you can, Megitsune, Karate, or if you want just a silly song that will put a big smile on your face and confuse you because you don't know how to react to what you just saw or you're left wondering what DID you just watch, then Gimmie Chocolate.

This Akin Ka na Lang is IMO her biggest You Tube hit. I find her other pieces much better performed, but I love this one, too.
