God down memory Lane. Remember B&B chassis needed painting every year lot of jockey wheels only dropped no winding no spear wheel and only cold water from the jug.

My parents had a Fairholme Harlequin (62 or 63 I think) with rear dinette and double bed at the front which folded out from the wall . Towed with Morris Oxford. Happy days!

Fairholme were a good van - fold down beds were the norm back then thank you for sharing and watching the channel

Always feels good to do some reminiscing. As kids we had a 1966 Sprite 400.
In later years they had a Eurocamper which Dad towed with an Austin 1100.
Hmm...guess that's we all love Not Another White Box so much 😊

Hi Martin - what great reply liked your look back at the tourers you had - back then it was a slower pace and caravans were smaller as the cars - you may find the Caravanning in the 1970's a good read ! Thanks for taking time to contact the channel

We bought our first caravan earlier this year in August. It’s a classic, a Viking Fiberline. Good video. Andrew

Oh thank you and you have a Viking - nice vans and well made, what year ia it? Originally a South African design they have become popular on the classic scene - thanks for contacting me

@@caravanindustryexpertandyjenk I think it is a 1978. I’ve got to get a new VIN plate made up for it, the original has faded apart from a couple of weight figures, one says 992kg but not sure if that is the MIRO or max capacity. Once I’ve finished doing it up I will get it re-weighed.

@@Batesandrw if its a 78 it will have the front one piece window introduced for the 77 model year you can message me via the caravan industry expert FB page - I have all the Viking history.

@@caravanindustryexpertandyjenk It must be prior 78 because it has the three windows at the front. I would love more info on my caravan. Andrew

It must be prior 78 then because it has the three windows at the front. I would love more information on my Viking Fiberline, would be great to get a vin for it then I can register it with Cris.
