I kinda like that back then no one liked this. (Even got trash talked by my friends for liking the design of the G-self). As time went on, people started to appreciate the designs, watched the movies to make it more cohesive and are hunting for the kits. I know that the story and plotline and the script is haywire, but what i cannot ignore is the great animation, color and movement of each character and mobile suit. To late to complaint but for me still watchable.
A lot of people say this anime is confusing or hard to follow but if you pay attention and listen to what the characters say it all makes sense! Give it a try!
No. Yes it makes sense in a whole, but something getting skipped here and there quite a lot in the late of the series that it's feel weird and a bit confusing, if you can never mind those holes then you're fine
@kritthanon_leasiripanid what holes what gets skipped? Everything is set up and explained as the series progresses. It's just like any other Tomino anime.
@@narutoman876 some that I can remember is Lalaya(light green head black girl) seems to have some thing about one of the house in one colony I forget the name, and then the next episode she regains her memories and becomes a fully functional human. Mask(the char clone) suddenly changes from reliable senpai to a hatred full which understandable when he says he is a ex-slave race, but some how he is a leader of one group army and later around the end he suddenly get kabakali from the third side(I maybe fall off in some part that this is explained)

Mask is being manipulated by Cumpa Rucita as he ffeds Mask's Paranoia regarding Bellri. The GiT Gang side with Capital Army for reasons that are obvious if you had paid attention.

It's not why GIT side with Mask that I don't get, it's the "here's kabakali" that came in so sudden while his mack knife aren't even broke yet and I don't remember Cumpa manipulate Mask, maybe I miss that because I watch it while building gunpla. But for Raraiya, I still think it's quite a skip, she might be able to form a sentence or two for a conversation which compared to these first episodes is good for her development. But my point is a gap between episodes that they skip, as I said, she sees a house that she feel something with it, that time she still talking like I said, then the episode ends and then the next be like "we are getting political, you regain your memories right" and she talks so smoothly likes that first part never happened before. If you think that that's slowly and constantly, it's fine but that's the only skip I will keep my standing point
I like the animation work they did for the Mobile Suits It's the character animations that just feel a bit strange in comparison to other Gundam series.
I recommend watching the movie compilations for g-reco instead. The added scenes and dialogue in the later ones really help to flow things a lot better.
I think... the subs could still be better. You can roughly understand what they're talking about but some of the nuances sti feel off. Like when they're talking about Raraiya in 9:13. I think I got my hopes too high after seeing the subs used in Zeta.
Whether this takes place before or after Turn A is a finicky topic. Bandai says before but Tomino says after, not to mention the *spoiler alert*... Moonlight Butterfly shows up later in the G-Lucifer, a suit made by the GIT labs who studies and recreates tech from the past.
@MatthewLoh-ru1mw I mean that's kind of a given with any gundam installment. I had to rewatch Hathaway like twice to understand what the hell was happening
It's pretty easy to follow. The main problem is that people are looking at it deeper than it actually is. It's simple when you get down to it, the current Feds are corrupted and people want to wage war while also having no idea what war is due to how long ago the last war was. The only thing confusing is the amount of factions.
