A lot of people say Microsoft is not good at marketing but they simply don't understand what marketing is.
Case in point. The mood of the panel over this news. I called it that the closure of Tango would be forgotten in a few weeks. Everything was meticulously planned by Microsoft marketing because the fans have goldfish memories. It's so amusing the moodshift over getting a game they were already supposed to get in GP
I haven't picked up COD in years but I am also excited to play COD and Hellblade 2 on GP. The mood flip is so amusing to me 😂

Bad idea. Doesnt move any needle or whatso ever for gamepass. COD likely lose money on this. COD made money before gamepass ever exists. So putting on game pass doesnt add anything. More layoffs as a consequence of this decision??
The safe route is not to add CoD and stay the course. This is a gamble where MS is pretty much daring people to join Game Pass. Some will and some won't. Now, how many people join GP no Xbox vs. PC?
MS could add another GP tier, and DEFINITELY do a $35 for DLC/BattlePass + 5-7 Day Early access.
