At times, paralysis. Heartbeat. 2) And then the bird listens to its heartbeat and chooses to live! It pulls up its last strengths. This is Part 2. You breathe. You try to spread your wings. You restore. For some, this part may mean awakening. For me, it was a ray of light through the dark clouds in my life. It didn’t just come out of nowhere. I can't think of this as anything other than "After the Deluge" It sounds to my ears like the aftermath of a severe and heavy rain: the cascading of water, swirling effluences, a startlingly serene pond where none was before, the sun finally bursting through the clouds causing the droplets settled on leaves to glisten like jewels. Loss. Homes float past as piles of debris. Life. Survivors are pulled from the wreckage and humanity shows the best of itself in the worst situations. I hear all of it in this song.

I can't think of this as anything other than "After the Deluge" It sounds to my ears like the aftermath of a severe and heavy rain: the cascading of water, swirling effluences, a startlingly serene pond where none was before, the sun finally bursting through the clouds causing the droplets settled on leaves to glisten like jewels. Loss. Homes float past as piles of debris. Life. Survivors are pulled from the wreckage and humanity shows the best of itself in the worst situations. I hear all of it in this song.
