MITOVA my loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, may all time fa gymnast, i cried so much when she fell on floor final at Barcelona.... she could have woin bronz in floor final, but deserved gold in 92 euros ( judges were disgusting with her), and gold in 92 world cup if had not stopped her routine....
It wasn’t at 92 World Cup, it was at 1992 World championship where she forgot what she was supposed to do (or whatever the hell happened) but anyways she would probably have been underscored like in 1992 euros…(she got a bronze at least in vault) the Bulgarian fate… And then 1 month after the Olympics…how tragic BUT she recovered miraculously she married she is a mother she runs a gym…not that bad uh? She signed me an autograph at the 1992 Barcelona olympics along with the Bulgarian team (I am from Spain and was at the games, I was a young boy), my favorite team, they brought so much beauty to the olympics…
@@Marketoromagnolo Haha I would not say I met her, there’s not much to tell Irrc it was many days before the events, the Bulgarian team had just finished their training, I drew the attention of one of them, (Todorova I think) she came and signed me. Then through hands gestures I told her if she could tell her teammates to come and sign me as well , she did, they all come and signed me haha
@@user-LuGymnastics Yeah Hristakieva too the whole Bulgarian team I think I still have the notebook, it must be in my parents house But nothing special, just autographs (someone draw a happy face or something I think) don’t know what you expect haha

I remember Silvia very well, an outstanding and very pretty gymnast! We don’t talk enough about the accidents in gymnastics. I don’t understand how SO MANY people in the US let their daughter loose her time practicing that extremely difficult and dangerous sport all days long.

Very well said. I think you are correct. It’s so sad that the state was happy to take Silva’s success but not even help pay for her medical treatment. However, it’s very likely the same would happen in the United States.
@@peterbothwell9005 I know for similar case with Chinese gymnast that unfortunately is still in wheelchair. Very famous case.... happened in USA and the Chinese gymnast was left alone there not taken in China and they even tried to blame the gymnast for the accident and says she is not well with the head. After was for a while in Chinese family in USA where was abused🥺....There is documentaries about her...now she is married and has son i think even in that paraplegic condition. But my idea was that federation and country just left the poor person in foreign country like a street dog. Institutions, federations and states use the person when can benefit ....if the person is in trouble is left alone. Old rule that i hate!!!!
