Hey brother! I loved your reaction to Dan’s extra manly, HIGH testosterone-packed rendition of I’ll Make A Man Out Of You! Dan takes his artistry to new extraordinary levels!!! Dan totally blasts this song like a volcanic eruption!!!! His final notes are EPIC!!! I am so happy to have the joy of seeing and hearing Dan Vasc’s musical masterpieces that he skillfully and passionately presents. He is unmatched. He is The Treasure From Brazil!!!! Dan is pioneering and trailblazing a whole new path and way for music and the arts, which is brilliant! I love it!!! I believe in Dan and I know that Dan can do anything, and as far as his future goes, I think it will be just as exciting and powerful, and done how he wants to do it! He knows that he is surrounded with all of the love and support to encourage him all along the way, so that all of his dreams will be realized and made into a reality. It will be EPIC!! Dan’s fire he carries is hot as lava, but his fire doesn’t burn you…it ignites you!!! Welcome to the POWER of THE VASC!!!! Keep on diving brother into the goodies Dan has made! Every one is unique and presented with precision and honed-in skills. Dan puts excellence inside everything he does. I pray you have the most epically joy-filled day ever!!!! Thank you for showing love and support of the Vasc!!! 👏🏼🔥🤗 🔥🔥♥️♥️⚔️🇧🇷🇺🇸⚔️♥️♥️ #danvascishumble♥️♥️ #donnaluvsthevasc♥️♥️ #danvascisepic♥️♥️
Loved your reaction ! ! ! Life is dull without Dan . Have you heard his Phantom of the Opera's "Music of the Night? Or Bocelli's "It's time to say Goodbye " w/ Ren Stillnight? Oh and his version of "Gethsemane " is an extremely Passionate and Powerful and Theatrically Dan version. Several Opera versions of Disneys "Beauty and the Beast " His "Nessum Dorma "is truly just as powerful "Passionate" , Unbelievable version. "Amazing Grace"was amazing. Opera was a father and son event. He's singing this to his Dad looking up and a few tears at the end. His Father was Italian and passed away 7-8 yrs ago but did not get to share in Dans music success. His Dad gave him his harmonica when he was 7. He always had a love for music. You can see his emotions sometimes with his loss. Thank you again and check out his Opera Music I've listed.❤❣️⚘️ PS Dan does all his editing and arrangements. All is done by Dan, His studio is set up in his garage ! Seriously he's amazingly gifted in so many ways.
Samuel Kim Music did the orchestral arrangement, everything else is done by Dan, even the background vocals. He does 90% of the arrangements of all of his songs. Loved your reaction analysis of this master class performance. Dan would shine on Broadway, but I don't believe you will ever see that. He is a metal head at heart and I believe more of his future music will be predominately in that genre now that he has achieved the success that he has worked so hard for. For another metal transformation of a class ballad, you should check out his My Heart Will Go On. No sad love song for Dan who gives us a rocking metal anthem. Thanks so much and I look forward to the next one.
Dan does the arrangement himself, he is a one man business. He is not on broadway because he doesn't want to be there. He is exactly there where he wants to be, where he can sing what he wants and how he wants to sing it. And this is a great blessing for him and all of us that like his music. Great that you are planning to check out more of Dan Vasc's stuff! Choose any song, you will be thrilled all over the place! I suggest his "Dawn of Victory" and his "Rolling in the deep" ADELE metal cover.
@Lydelith. I agree. He took down his Adele tract because he’s going to re-do it. He wasn’t happy with how it was mastered. We’re really in for a treat!! ❤
This is one of my absolute favorites, from my many favorites from Dan Vasc ! His posture, his starring his powerful voice are oustanding ! The best cover from "Mulan" I ever heard! Thank you for your reaction ! 😊
dan did that choir effect, its like 20 dan's for that, if you like that watch him do hallelujah, its a full choir of 24 dan;s and it shows his full range
What a masterpiece from Dan. His vocal skills and presence are unique and mesmerizing at the same time. Skar, Jonathan Young, Peter Hollens, Ken Tamplin, Charlotte Jafari and Raphael Mendes are the artists on the cover. I think you will recognize some of the names. Dan doesn't see himself on a big stage. He would only reach a few people. So all of us who want to hear him get something out of it. Thank you for your wonderful response to this epic cover from Dan.
His quote from the video- "This is my metal cover of the song "I'll Make a Man Out of You from the movie Mulan, done together with the mighty @samuelkimmusic arranging the orchestra. Drums, bass, electric guitars, vocals, mixing and mastering by yours truly."
Skar of Skar Productions is the 1st one. Dan & Skar have several collabs over on Skar's channel. Misty Mountains from LOTR, Pokemon. Skar is a metalhead. Their Misty Mountain is my fave. Great reaction!
Absolutely amazing performance by Dan!❤❤ He recorded this 3years ago. I see others have answered some of your other questions. He most definitely could be on Broadway. Hoping for more Dan reactions, thankyou😃
The guests are fellow UA-cam creators - credited in video description. The background chorus after that section are all Dan Vasc. Great reaction. Hail ❤🤘✝
The wonderful thing is that Dan Vasc does exactly what interests him and his fans and what they want. And that's exactly what I like. His channel consists of exactly the wonderful, incredible and fantastic material/songs. Watch and listen to "Gethsemane-Jesus Christ Superstar". Unbelievable ❤🤘💪
As to why he's not on Broadway, maybe that's because that's not his thing. He's his own person and does what he loves. I'm grateful to have found this profoundly gifted vocalist, musical arranger, videographer. He is amazing!
Dan is a master at facial expressions. Dan is at a time in his life and career, where he has the freedom to sing what and when he wants. He prefers quality over quantity. His style is changing also. He prefers to only sing songs that give you power. No more sad love songs. Dan wants nothing to do with recording contracts or live performances. He prefers to go it alone so that he has complete control over what and how he sings. He also likes control over his videos. He said he doesn’t do live shows, because they want him to talk afterwards and he won’t do that. He said he doesn’t speak at all for 24 hours after singing to protect his voice. Thanks for reacting to this one!
Enjoyed your reaction. Um, the "Be a man" phrases in the background came in right after the cameos - pre hair flip and key change. And that vocal layering was all Dan. You're right, Dan could absolutely do Broadway. If you haven't already, check out his "Music of the Night" from Phantom of the Opera and "Gethsemane" from Jesus Christ Superstar.
This version just screams power!! What else would you want from the man who was going to lead you into battle?!? Dan would be prefect to play this part, but I highly doubt he would do it. Dan does, what Dan wants, without anyone telling him what or how to do it. Can’t blame him!! If you want to see a mind blowing performance, check out Dan’s cover of “Gethsemane”. Standing ovation guaranteed!! Thanks for a great review!🎶💕
I love this, one of my favorites, and it certainly shows off Theatrical Dan! If you like the choir effect, you will love Angels We Have Heard on High (sung in 5 languages, with a chorus of Dans). Someone has mentioned his Hallelujah Chorus, in which he sings all 4 parts (including soprano!), in a chorus of 24 little boxed Dans. Since he does all the backgrounds in his songs, in the various ranges of his gorgeous voice, they’re always wonderful. Try Spread Your Fire for several different voices, terrific register switches, multiple backing vocals, and great screams! Thanks for getting back to Dan. I always really enjoy your knowledgeable and appreciative comments.
Dan has done several collaborations with different artists. But to specifically answer your question, they are you tube creators who are all credited in his description of the video. Some awesome collabs to check out are Kiss from a Rose with Violet Orlandi, Breaking the Silence with Erik Gronwall and Dawn of Victory with Fabio Lione (and his band Fearless). Thanks for reacting with such enthusiasm to Dan's art.
Loved your expertise and opinion on Dan’s singing this. I learned some interesting things. Of course I love anything Dan but enjoyed your take on this.
The people who sang the female part are other UA-cam musicians. I don’t know all of them, but the second person is Jonathan Young and the third is Peter Hollens. Jonathan does a lot of metal and very bassy stuff. Peter Hollens is one of the most prolific artists on UA-cam. He collaborates with Home Free as a band and also with Austin, Tim, and Chance, plus a plethora of other musicians. It’s really interesting to scroll through UA-cam and see what are seemingly random artists collaborating. Donny Osmond sang the original for the movie. Although Donny’s version is great, Dan takes it to a different level. Dan does do a lot of his arranging but always lists anyone who helps in his description.
❤❤❤ lol knew you would love it. Dan is a genius when it comes to knowing what to do.... when to do it... to make his music videos absolutely Wonderful. With that voice, his charisma... his passion... his performance ❤️😁👍 He's the best!!!! Really enjoyed your review of Dan and this video... thank you
Great reaction. Dan is just so energetic and alive. Almost every reactor who has seen Dan before has a big smile on their face when the say “we have a video from Dan.
Enjoyed your analysis. Dan has said that all the other compositional elements are very important and he crafts them all to be a part if the whole. His voice is one of the elements. He would like his entire work to be heard and appreciated, not just the Dan part. I heard one reactor comment on how pleased he was with Dan’s continuing to keep creating something even better than before. It was the first time I realized that Dan is both a singer and an incredibly good creator.
I love Dan Vasc. There is also another singer I can highly recommend. Check out Tommy Johansson's version of The Phantom of the Opera or You raise me up. His voice is so powerful and his range is impressive. Thanks for a great reaction

Dan does all the arranging and backup vocals unless he gives credit to someone at the beginning of the video. He has never been on Broadway, but he would be amazing!!
You tubers, Skar Productions, Jonathan Young, Peter Hollens, Ken Tamplin, Charlotte Jafari, and Raphael Mendes. And no, Dan's never been on Broadway, though he should be! I've heard rumor though that he's in the process of getting a visa. Thanks for your great reaction!!
If you don't know the cameo people, each of them is worth checking out. Their channels are in the song's description and pinned comment, they are really great artists. Jonathan Young does some Disney Metal, too, and Peter Hollens is one of UA-cam's most popular solo a cappella artists.
Great reaction. You explain a lot about his voice techniques. The way he sings is just stunning. The performance, the energy. You can see the joy in his face when he gets to those high screams at the end. . Also, no one has commented on how he moves when he is singing. It seems like some kind of bouncy dance step to keep time and just enjoy moving to the music. He doesn’t stand still. He moves in response to what he is singing. There seems to be a physical sense of movement joy when he sings to the beat of the drums or something else in the music. I have never seen a singer really enjoy what he is doing. It makes the performance even more exciting.
This song is so much fun, and Dan’s performance and vocals are spectacular. I can tell he is having fun! I enjoyed your reaction and analysis. It is fun to learn about Dan’s singing techniques. Thank you.
