Perfect for removing the movement of my Lorus Quartz watch, exactly the same movement as in your video. The inside of the crystal needed cleaning, job done and all looking good now :)
I thought that 'replace' watch movement also included removing the old movement from the watch face, and swapping the old (bad) one with the new movement.
hey ,if anyone else is searching for how to repair multimeter try Saankramer Electronic Magazine System (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my mate got amazing success with it.
Great Video , it looks like i have wasted , hundreds, buying 3 seiko watches, 7T32-6K19 Seiko 7T32-6K50 and Seiko 7T32-6K60 , here in Tasmania, Australia , i'm told by a Seiko Service Center , they don't make those movements, or parts , so can't be fixed . Can they be fixed, i would love some expert, advice. Cheers Karl
Can u make a video on how to repair a watch of which the pin or dialer has been pushed to hard the it contains the same machine as the one I used (battery operated)
Thank you for your video. My inside part of my casio looks almost exactly like yours but i don't know why when I open it, there is a tiny spring on the side which falls and i don't know where it's supposed to be... Anybody has any ideas?
Thank's, I took the back off, removed the stem and fixed my wonkey watch hands. I used vernier calipers to unscrew the back (a tool I had already for measuring). Then a sewing needle with a magnifying glass to release the stem.
THANK YOU so much. I've replaced batteries, adjusted bands and all that, but I could never figure out how to remove the stem! Is there any remedy for a loose second hand?
Thank you very much, the video was so useful to me. I have a question please : I have guess watch model no. 113515G1, this watch I tried to change the battery, but when I did I damage the closer where it should be over the battery, then I use a small aluminum sheet and put it instead of that, the watch working very well and after 3 days the second hand is working continually and the other not. the minute hand and hour not working. Please, can you help me? Thank you again.
I am trying to take the stem out of a Nixon watch but there is a wider part on the stem similar to stem 401-1599 in your parts list. I can get the stem to release but it won't pull out of the case. Can you tell what step I am missing. Thanks
Does anybody know the name of the dark green plastic frame surrounding the mechanism of the watch (UNDER THE BACK COVER) My new pulsar watch was dropped and the plastic frame which keeps the battery area and face of the watch stable is now missing. I will have to order a new part but have no idea what it is called or where to begin? Please help. TY
Hello by any chance do you have a video tutorial with this same machine movement in reference to fixing it or do you know where I xan buy one ive seen ebay and such and cant seem to find it
I had some trouble setting my wife's watch and pulled the stem all the way out. It goes back in, and the watch can be set, but the stem doesn't lock in very well. Is there a way to fix that? It's a Timex quartz.
I’m also a watch maker look at how rookies learn how to repair watches😂.... press the button with a tweser(the button you press to take out the stem) hold it down and put the stem back in while hold down.
When putting the stem back, should it always be turned first, then pushed in to click? I'm pushing it only and finding it difficult to click it back in. Then it pulls out totally, without being secured into the mechanism. I have been careful to position it correctly. To be honest, I am practicing this on a junk watch.
I legit just had my dog jump on me after being gone for a couple of hours my watch band broke and my watch fell to concrete and well the movement broke. Any idea where I can buy replacement internals?
I've just repaired my watch. However: when removing the stem it is crucial to TURN the stem when pulling! You've mentioned that when described putting the stem back. I haven't found any button, but in place roughly shown on video, IDK, I push it with a very sharp tool, pull the stem while turning - it comes off easily. Geez, this thing looks very delicate, I hope I haven't broken anything else. What was broken in the first place: the minute hand displaced towards the second hand, blocking the second hand randomly. When I removed the movement, the minute hand went completely loose, I reattached it in place, made sure it doesn't block the second hand and well, it works as charm. THANK YOU! I would never did this without this video.
Fking broke it, the stem won't stay in and won't make any click...damn Edit: works now, I unscrew the whole thing, and the button wont come up by itself.
I have a watch with the same mechanism, I took out the stem, cleaned the watch glass and put the stem back but now the mechanism it's kinda inverted, If I try to pull it out, it goes without pressing the spot indicated. And if I press the spot and pull out the stem it locks and I can move the watch arrows. Does someone know what is this problem about?
God I almost destroyed a delicate movement spacer while changing the battery on an discontinued Seiko 7N36-7A09 quartz dive watch from the 1990s. I guess it'll be hard to find a similar replacement, huh?
On my Bering watch the movement does NOT tip out as in your otherwise excellent video. There is another tight fiting s/s rim that has to be removed but no idea how. The movement looks the same, a VX32E. Any ideas please?
Hi, can you please show me how to remove the stem for a 251.471? I have a Gucci YA101322 and the stem broke about 10years ago. Planning to try to change the stem myself. Please please help!
I bought this Seiko at the flea market thinking it was mechanical because it didn't say quartz anywhere. grrr. Well.... I must start somewhere. Your video helped greatly. Thanks!
I was able to remove the stem perfectly just like in video. The watch movement won't come out though. It seems the back opening is smaller than the front face of watch. Are some watch have non removal movements? This is Daniel Wellington B32R6
Thanks to _this_ video, I fixed the roman numerals 'floating' around inside my ESQ!! In _under_ 10 minutes. Guess what I'm wearing tomorrow? 🎈✨🎈Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! 🎈✨🎈 🤗🤗🤗🥂😘😘😘

The video progresses a bit too quickly & the magnification is inadequate so it's hard to see exactly what's going on.
