    Excellent work! well outlined step by step. One question: Propeller blades thickness are not always uniform. They have variable thickness along the shape (thicker at the bottom and thinner close to the top). Same as the blade contour, they are defined by mathematical functions to improve propulsion. How you could input these equations into SW to define thickness and contour?

      Stack multiple planes over each other with a sketch of the blade profile on each plane. Then Loft

    Please make a full tutorial playlist on Solidworks Surface modeling. There are not many tutorials on that. It would be helpful to students and you will get more subscribers

    Good video but I think you should explain that this is not the proper way to design a propeller. Please remove from title the word "marine" this is nothing close to one.

    • @jaritikkanen3958
      @jaritikkanen3958 3 роки тому

      Yes. There is a relation between the blade tip and pitch near the boss that makes flight. But still, give an idea of how it is possible made to like some brochure. Have you Morar noticed that if are like a two-propeller ship in some technical animation at leas one propeller running the wrong direction :D

      @@jaritikkanen3958 counter-rotating propellers are used to balance the effect of torque

    • @jaritikkanen3958
      @jaritikkanen3958 3 роки тому +1

      @@MM7782 I know that. Still, often at animations, propellers are similar and still other running opposite direction. Or they are mirror images but running the same direction. Like I said at least half of the propellers running the wrong direction than is drawn. I saw animations that both running in the wrong direction where some bubbles mark current, and it seems that is not braked by the propellers. I think 95% viewer did not notice that or ignore.

    No it is NOT okay!!! You are entering numbers without explaining what you are doing. Complete AkaKadabra. Not a way to teach others Solid Works. I did not learn a single bit, in the end I was just very confused.

      you need more time with solidworks before doing something like this then. Ive been using it in school for only one semester and this is very easy for me.
