The end of this episode belongs in a museum. Actually this whole episode belongs in a museum.
"So do you!" (obligatory Indiana Jones reference) *\8-P*
dude these graphics are sick for NES
I just picked this game up today at a local retro store. Controlling the ship is a lot harder to do than you guys make it appear. Bravo.
Have you played Sub-Terrania?
This is the best episode of Continue? hands down. "I wanna be a pilot"
I'll join Nick's crew. I'll be the one guy who does the thing with the stuff.
Better call Sau-, I mean Paul
nick murphy is a pro starpilot
This game LOOKS FREAKIN' AWESOME!
Thanks man. We'll be doing another meet up soon. We'll also be at Too Many Games in Philly in June.
This game has alot of amazing memories when I was a kid, I would play with with my brother and my dad and the later levels get waaaaay harder and more creepy so our dad would play them because we were to afraid haha
I wish they made a part 2 to this game, it was so EPIC
The ending commercial was just brilliant!
Thanks so much. We're glad that you guys are stoked for Smart Guys.
"Astronauts are the Surgeons of the sky" Nick, that was some beautiful poetic shit right there.
This is still one of my favorite episodes to rewatch.
This just became one of my favorite episodes, awesome stuff guys! And congrats on the success of your kickstarter campaign, can't wait for your new project!
Just hit the Eastside of the Galaxy
On a mission trying to find Mr. Paul Ritchey.
Seen a spaceship full of jewels, Josh gonna freak
Saul R. Jetman better call toll free
I am enjoying the fact that I have beat this game and I am really enjoying your surprise at the challenges the game presents as you advance.
That bit at the end... TenouttaTen! Beautiful
Really loving all the end skits lately guys! They're pretty much pure solidified excellence.
I remember this game fondly even though it was super difficult to finish
You guys are hilarious and whenever you do little live-action sketches for the games you play, you reach a whole new level of humour! Keep it up!
For Christmas this past year, my rents got me a $25 gift card to our local retro games store... Today I finally had a chance to use it, and based on y'all's recommendations I got this game and Time Lord, along with Gremlins II (I really liked it as a kid when I rented it) and Street Fighter 2010. That game has mixed reviews, but it looks like a game I could dig.
Thanks Continue for the great show!
That ending makes me want to be a space pilot reaaaaal bad
These ending skits are just aces every time.
I love you guys.
I love the short ending skits of the episodes are always the funniest thing I see the whole week.
Thanks man. Welcome!
Best episode of continue yet, great job guys!
This has to be one of my favorite episodes.
Lately the endings have been great, but you really out did yourselves on this one. I loveyou guys and I hope you have ridiculous amounts of succes with Smart Guys.
I can't tell which is more sweet, Nick's awesome piloting skills or the hilarious skits you guys have been adding after videos lately. So much win! So many epic maneuvers! But wait ... where's the Nightwish?
This Episode = AMAZING.... the banter, the knowledge, the throwbacks.... perfect
First off, Nick wore the perfect shirt for this video, while flying a video game space ship why not wear one of the most famous space ships ever on your shirt, had to be some magic there, secondly the commerical at the end had me dying especially when josh started talking
Your videos just get better and better
This is one of my favorite classic games. I saw this pop up and my joy was boundless.
I'm loving the little outros they've been putting in recently. I hope that'll continue to be a thang, but if it's only for sci-fi month then I'll be sure to appreciate 'em some more.
Josh would make an awesome treasurer, he never passes up dem jewels
Nick is my new hero. When I grow up, I want to fly purple pods in space and collect space bling just like him.
i have to say i don't have a favorite but Paul now hold a special place in my heart because he mentioned eyedea and abilities in their podcast
That ending commercial was priceless!
I've been on a watching binge for the last 4 days. I was losing hope in you guys, until this ending of this episode. Spot-Fucking-On...Still laughing uncontrollably.
This game looks awesome as shit dude
If there was a Super Solar Jetman it would have been a hit I'm like 400% sure.
I was waiting for a "look at all that jewels" reference and I got one. Thank you, Continue.
I fucking love Solar Jetman. Hard, yes, but you feel like a badass once you've beaten the game's physics. Plus there's something just endearing about the style to it.
There were about 46 instances that required the dramatic music, because Nick was boss in this episode. Pretty smooth flying, Fox.
This game...I had this as a child. Oh the memories! Oh the nostalgia! The days where I would play it all night, preventing my mother from watching her soaps. Thank you guys for playing this and bringing back a happier memory of my long lost youth
Wow, I thought you guys had stopped doing episodes! Glad to see i was wrong!
that game was awesome. definelyy had a lot going for it especially cause it was so pretty on nes. fun fun fun .seems like it might get a klittle frustrating and repetitbve but i bet theres more to see. continue you guys rule thatnks
sweet content YO
josh is my favourite jsoh is the best.
ima put that on every one youre in youll see.
27 seconds in and Nick's Robo impression has made me instantly like and favourite this video...
OMFG I HAVE TO GO TO TOO MANY GAMES AGAIN NOW BECAUSE OF THIS. I've wanted to meet you guys forever! Since I lived in philly most of my young life, when you did the behind the scenes thing - I know the neighborhood you guys were in! I'm TOTES GOING! I hope to see you guys!!!!
I'm elated to learn I share a birthday with the incredibly handsome Nick Murphy
Such a great pilot, Nick could be my wingman anyday.
favorited at "I'm gonna be a pilot" I lost it at that shit
This game is like Kerbal Space Program. Totally wanna be in Nick's pilot crew!
Great episode! However, the last minute was the BEST! HAHAHA!!
I wanna see some Jetman shirts! Specifically, "Astronaut Prerequisites: 1. Confidence, 2. Egg Shaped Spaceship."
Awesome episode guys!
Dude Nick! Looking good bro, keep up the good work!
that was a long ass episode of Continue show
I'm both proud and impressed
The skits get better and better
I love you guys! You always save my Wednesdays!
I love your Starship Trooper references
Looking great Nick Murphy!
I always loved this game as a kid. Could never beat it.
GOD DAMN you have no idea how much I look forward to Wednesdays...they're the new friday for me!
Wow! Nick Murphy you're looking great! Congratulations!
Paul and Josh look stunning as usual
This is one of my favorite episodes, great job!!! I actually owned this game growing up and I could never make it past the 3rd level. I was highly inpatient as a child so that probably had a lot to do with it. That commercial at the end was amazing. I laughed so hard I shit a space egg.
This was one of your best episodes. I fucking love you guys, keep it up.
Also Josh, I love that jacket, I'm impressed you paid the $300 for it. I'm envious. Props for expensive tastes.
the noises and reactions the boys make when they see something gross onscreen is goddamn priceless.
I'm dying from laughter.
My grandparents also would put change in crownroyal bags for some weird reason.
This definitely belongs in the best of continue playlist. I'd watch you guys do a full let's play haha
nothing like a new Continue? for my birthday.
I kind of wish I could say yes, that would be some dedication right there!
When Nick said that Paul could navigate I thought of him saying stuff like
"Alright Nick, see the moon? Yeah, go to that." Best navigator ever!
Also, if you guys ended the show with a skit more often I'd love it. I think you guys are really funny when you do them. XD
Haha these bits you're doing at the end are so funny
This was the most entertaining episode of Continue? i've seen in a while!
Loved it!
Keep it up guys!
"I'm a pilot! :3"
There were at least 2 perfect epic manuevers... aside from that, another great episode! Congratulations on Smart Guys!
Not to be confused with the last pre-MMPR Super Sentai series.
888-8888 is a real number of injury attorneys here in Los Angeles. They do not, however, cover space mites.
This game taught you patience before Dark Souls was a thing xD
Fantastic episode.
i love you guys. you make the lonely feelings go away.
That ending... I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life.
Wait until Nick Murphy finds the booster upgrade. Beating physics with GOES FAST! is hugely satisfying.
It looks like I'd continue that one. Great episode!
The graphic style is like the first three Space Quest games, especially in the cutscenes. A few years after this, Sub-Terrania came out on Genesis and it had basically the same gravity-based gameplay mechanics (and an awesome soundtrack by Jesper Kyd). The most recent game that I can think of that's built around that concept is PixelJunk Shooter.
I would game over this simply because I don't have the space pilot dexterity needed to do well in this game. This is why Nick Murphy is awesome.
Ah, Rare, you were once so amazing...
Aww yeah, you guys just salved a really rough night-morning transition for me. Thanks, you beautiful Philadelphia brothers :)
never seen this game played before, happy to see it here first, it looks like a great game!
omg that last bit needs a favorite
The last minute of the video was f*cking hilarious!
This is the best NES, I played the shit out of this game and even finished it, it was soooooooooooo hard
I absolutely loved this game as a kid!
I really miss the Epic Maneuver. I assume you guys stopped doing it because you thought it was tired, but honestly, those moments were always what got me laughing the biggest laughs. Please bring it back, because that last second shield really needed it.
Amazing episode :)
this game looks excellent! continue for sure!
that was one of the best reviews ever!
By the way, that ship part you mentioned looked like Bop It? Remember Brain Warp? Think it looks more like that. Either way, hilarious stuff. Keep it up!
Dude, that game was cash money. Good episode guys!
Can we just talk about how you guys are the best? Because that's what I wanna talk about.
