I did arbitrage with phones for years, I had my business, paid taxes and turned that into a full time job. One thing I learnt is that: With EVERY business where you flip things, may be them shoes, phones, and so on, you will NEVER buy the last product of the chain with the price of the first product you buy. It’s work, you invest time, you create profit and revenue, but in fact you spent the equivalent of the price of the last phone, you simply worked for that. If you keep the money and don’t buy that last iPhone or those new shoes, you die in fact gain money. You have that money in your hands, and you are spending them the moment you buy something that you have no intention to sell, or if you are sure that the thing you are buying will increase somehow your profit making an investment. This may seems like a stupid and simple thought, but I see a lot of young guys approaching flipping and considering things wrong as they always keep in mind the starting price of the first thing they flipped. You are working and investing your time, always think “this iPhone was worth 120 dollars AND 17 hours of work”, don’t underestimate the power and the price of your time, is essential in that kind of activity!
The charging port being weird on thane phone was probably just dust. I remember the first time I decided to clean my port because it wouldn't charge at certain angles.. there was so much dust in that thing. Now I make sure to clean my port pretty often.
Great vid, I bought a cracked iPhone 12 Pro for 50$ yesterday, with a new housing and iFixit OLED screen that'll be 210$ total. Hoping to resell it for 400-500 depending on the storage
Love your videos! I used to do the same thing, but I eventually stopped. I went from an iPhone 7 to an iPhone 12 Pro back in 2020 when I was 16. Now, I’m thinking about starting again and upgrading to the iPhone 16.
If you get a fully maxed out iPhone 16 Pro Max with Apple Care including Theft and Loss protection for 2 years, and a Case, Screen Protector, and Magsafe Charging with a 30W adapter, and a MagSafe Wallet, it will cost you only $371. So with maybe one or two more flips you can get a 100% maxed out iPhone setup with all of the charging and accessories basically for free, or maybe even have some money left over. Which I think is crazy.
Hi Kristian, I’ve been working on web-based programs that can help automate repetitive tasks, and I had an idea that might save you time and enhance your process. What if you had a bot that could scan the marketplaces you use, identify good deals based on your criteria, and notify you instantly? This would free you up from constantly checking listings and allow you to focus on other aspects of your business or mentorship. If this sounds interesting, I’d love to discuss it further and see if it’s something that could fit your workflow. Let me know your thoughts!

What happens when private sellers pick up that they can sell their used phones triple the price just by uploading them on ebay instead of facebook marketplace? Then you'll be left with no 'job' ?
