That scene with the two knives was great, Im glad I didnt see this trailer before watching the movie
True. I just watched the movie and searched for a trailer to send to friends. Guess I will stick to just telling them about it without sending the trailer.
Brilliance.
The two knives is the whole movie
@@DerMichael You can still send trailers. Just watch it first before sending to ensure there's no spoilers.
Well I just watched the trailer and about to watch the movie 😢
Totally underrated classic. I show it regularly to my high school students in the psychology class because of the depictions of group processes here (group think, conformity etc.)
While I agree that it’s a classic, how exactly is one of the highest rated and respected movies of all time underrated lol. It’s literally the 5th highest rated film of all time on IMDb and has close to a million reviews lol
Man, I am 36 and just discovered this gem, my brother in law recommended this to me saying that it's in his top top list of all time.
Same boat, 36 and I discovered and watched it for the first time today.
What’s your top 10?
Brother in law or your brother in law???
Im 35
_12 Angry Men_ is the definition of a perfect cinema. To keep the movie interesting for its audience during its entirety was commendable, given the script of it. Topnotch direction & acting and the list goes on...
It's only obvious why this film continues to impress people to this day. Grateful to the people who were behind the production of this masterpiece!
*30 May 2023*
And the relevance it has today and should do.
Saw it once. It was a very good movie. Show what precarious and stereotyping is like. It take one person to see pass that in order change a stranger life. Good acting, good dialogue and good use of reasoning.
Is this or the remake better?
@@George2647g There is a Remake? I only saw this version while channel surfing.
@@George2647gmost would say this
@@George2647gthe remake was terrible.
Quite simply, a masterpiece of filmmaking. Lumet's directorial debut. A wish list of seasoned actors. A provocative script. Cinephiles take note of the varying camera angles.
Although, "12 Angry Men" is an old movie, literally in black & white. In 2023, it still holds weight compared to the films we see today.
The screenplay is fabulous! To have an entire film play out in one room & make it interesting enough to keep the audiences' is such a great achievement.
This film is a fine example of what simple storytelling can accomplish with good actors.
I highly recommend this film. You won't be bored. 🙌🏼
my friend recommended me this. but i judged this movie fast and i thought this gonna be boring because of trailer show just 1 room and the movie is too old. however after watch i must say this is one of the best movie i ever seen. absolute masterpiece😍😍😍. what a movie
Give everyone in the film a Oscar 🏆
They would've each deserved one. Every actor shines like a diamond in this film.
For real you dont even realize you are watching a film its like watching it in the room @@ChrisWolff2013
One of the best films ever made.
A master piece. No remake will match this perfection.
I’m in my 30s and I can’t remember why different teachers throughout my entire academic career forced me to watch this movie. Good film, if I remember correctly.
@Rolland Curtis • It's one of my favorite movies of all time. It's also one of the movies that made me decide to get involved with my sideline. At the end of the movie tag me and I'll tell you what I do because I don't want to tell you now since you don't remember exactly what the movie was about. So at the end of the movie tag me and I'll tell you what I do with my sideline ok friend? I've been at it actually longer than you've been alive cuz I've done it for 38 years. Said to say, the expression goes as much as things change they stay the same. Tag me later after you finish watching. 😉❤️😎
@@christinegelabert1651Sure, but I don’t plan on watching it anytime soon. I haven’t owned a television since my early twenties, so I don’t watch movies or long recorded programs at home. I did recently purchase a portable DVD player, so perhaps one day I’ll buy 12 Angrymen and get back to you. But for now I barely ever use my DVD player because they’re almost obsolete and watching DVDs is now antiquated or almost archaic.

Excellent movie. Brilliant story and powerful acting. A must watch!
One most remarkable film I ever seen
All of that conversation top class acting in just one room
No 40 million dollars aircrafts or people flying or just man killing 4000 people without scratch
All done in just One room
Well done boys
Just plain acting
This movie perfectly shows human negligent towards other people. One person’s life can mean nothing to another one. The movie emphasises how reasoning is important in any situation and sometimes things are not as they seem to be on the surface.

One of my all time favorite movies. I remember watching this when I was a sophomore back in 2000 in my English II class and was absolutely blown away by how great this movie is. Then as a class, our teacher assigned us the parts to us students to read aloud from the book as well.
One of the greatest movie of fifties. The impeccable Henry Fonda gave on of his finest performances of his illustrious career .
it's been 65 years. Just let that sink in
One of the best movies ever. Wow. Not outated at all. How it has themes about discrimination xenophobia corruption. Amazing.
I saw this back in sep 2022 and man is it a treat to watch. Shows you the impact pure screenplay and gripping storyline.
One of my favourite movies of all time and this is also Daniel Radcliffe's favourite movie of all time.
Watched this movie for the first time in an English Comp 1 class at my community college in the Fall of 2012. Can't remember what the assignment was that went along with it, but I do remember what a great film it was!

Can't wait for this movie
I have watched this film at least 4 times it is a masterclass in screenwriting!
My all-time favorite movie!
With an "all time cast"
Cinema peaked with 12 angry men. Everything since has been desperately chasing the fumes of this masterpiece.
A movie that was far ahead of its time...
I was lucky enough to see this movie
this movie have a charm, the fact that nobody has a name...! incredible...!
We had to watch this movie in English class. I was the only one who watched it the others couldn’t bare watching a film without color.
They definitely lost one great life lesson.
Just finished this movie a couple minutes ago. To be honest, this trailer makes it seem a lot more thrilling than it actually is. It's more of a thinking man's movie- that being said, it's VERY good. Don't know how else you'd make a trailer out of it- but "explosive" is probably the last word I'd use.
I did a project on the script of this, I was more intrigued than I thought I’d be lol
Looks like a great movie, can’t wait
George Davis is considered the humorous character in the film '12 Angry Men' due to his strong desire to leave and watch a football😂 game, willing to vote quickly without carefully considering the evidence and arguments presented."
One of best movies ever made. Also, budget wise, one of the cheapest to make. Cost was under $400k.
Good for notice that fact but still masterpiece
400k in 1957 was like 4 million today. Was not that cheap at that time.
@@pestel5766
Back then, it was a modest budget for a drama.
This movie is masterpice. All dialogue, actor and act. Sound. ITS great
The scene about halfway in where Ed Begley starts saying "they're all drunks"" and "they all lie" et al ... well, nothing much has changed since.
Such a great movie definitely recommend it
Classic! Great movie!
Daniel Radcliffe's favourite movie
Simply, The best movie ever made.
Today's film's can't reach to this level of art.
Excellent movie, just watched it, awesome!
I am summoned for jury duty, here I am :D
Oscar doesn't deserve this movie
I have the perfect to say when someone asks about what this movie is about; It is about twelve angry men.
All the actors here are gone😢
I vote not guilty. You can't send a man off to die like that with that kind of evidence.
Un chef d'oeuvre.
12 Angry Hams. Great actors show how fine dramatic acting can lead to a true and just verdict. Good directing helps get justice for the accused and a great audience response. ***"*

Prato cheio pra quem gosta de cinema e roteiro
In hindi the movie name is " ek ruka hua faisla".. copied from "12 angry men".. but it's also really awesome Indian actors
It is a very good movie--great ensemble acting. However, I think that Henry Fonda got it wrong and that the accused was guilty....
That's what's so great about the film, the writers were smart enough to leave it up to the audience.
Henry fonda did not say that he was sure the boy’s not guilty, he said he has reasonable doubt, and you can’t send a man to chair if you have even a fraction of reasonable doubt. That was the key.
@@sarthak.roy013, I don't believe that there was reasonable doubt.
It's fiction. Therefore the author chooses the storyline and ending.
@@pAusten, thanks for the insight, but I already know how fiction works. However the author never establishes whether or not the defendant is guilty or innocent. That is left up to each audience member to decide for themself. Everyone in the audience is placed in the role of being the thirteenth juror. It's a truly fine piece of fiction which we both evidently admire even though we might have come to different conclusions.
Шедевр!
Awesome movie
As you know, justice cannot be served. Loss.
I am very curious about where and how I will find this scene and its 'place'.

this movie is a goat
There you go: put 12 men anywhere, sooner or sooner they’re gonna be ANGRY. Who do I want on my jury: 12 Angry Men, or 12 Calm Women?
Watch this movie remake in Hindi " Ek ruka hua faisla"......Must watch....🙌🙌
The only way this movie could have gained "greatest of all time" status is if they could have twisted it at the end with something that showed the boy was guilty after they all voted not guilty. That would have been the cherry on the cake. It's the way I would have made the film.
So I give it a solid 8/10. Well worth watching but it's missing the golden twist.
