- Gacha Life is one of the worst, most cringe things on the entire internet. It has helped create spawn some of the weirdest, overly edgy creations in the entirety of human kind. There are even subreddits dedicated to laughing and poking fun at Gacha Life creations, such as r/GachaLifeCringe, as well as entire cringe compilations on youtube. In this video I talk about why I think Gacha Life is super cringe in general, but not just that, why I hate it. This is: Why I HATE Gacha Life...

SO edgy. a lot of the characters have a cartoonishly exagerrated power level and some of them just draw shit out of nowhere. they also make up like the wildest fucking problems ever. like "I was beaten at the age of -2 🥺" like the more ridiculous the problem does not exactly make your character just automatically better.

I've been through different fandoms like MLP, FNF and DDLC. Yes there are toxic parts of them (especially FNF). But it's NOTHING compared to the toxicity of Gacha. I probably can't stand watching a single video of Gacha.
Edit: The worst thing about it is that it ruins other fandoms. They're basically a sub fandom of a big fandom that come together from different fandoms.

As a member who knew the gacha community since Gacha Club was still in development, I can easily agree, but I can also confirm that in general this community, while it is in a bad situation, it isn't too bad actually. If you look around, there actually is some good content. Take youtubers like RosyClozy or Kamexri (this last one actually addressed some problems in the community)

Literally everything was chill until some weird child users had to make gacha have a bad rep. it because of them that I can’t even talk to anyone about Gacha without them interrupting me while calling me cringe.
100% of them is bad. they just can search animations and just add them there like the transtitions rainbow color thing and just the eyes dude like it sounds cringe and i appreciate the animations and good arts but as i was talking about the transitions the moving thing the rainbow blood or something its sound cringe feeling like they have achieved their revenge i dont know what im saying but it sound cringe i mean all of them they probably spent like 1 day on making good arts but cringe transitions. some youtubers work animations even harder like months or weeks

Not only that, but some big channels tht make low effort content somehow manage to overshadow the small talented creators. I have a vid in my channel where I talk about these kind of issues and i'm currently looking for more suggestions

Take RosyClozy as an example. With her i just summarized what you said because she happened to make a really popular series/she got really popular from the getgo.
Now take me as an example: my old channel had a Bonetale.exe video that got me 500 subs and that vid reached 60k views. Sadly, that video overshadowed my main content and after getting hacked when I almost reached my milestone of 1k subs, I started from the beginning with gacha related content and now I have around 200 subs.
You can see from my videos that aren't FNIA related that the algorithm is being extremely hard on me

As a former Gacha tuber, I'm just gonna say the same thing as others. I believe that Gacha Club will overtake Gacha life in the future. I agree that the gacha community is cringy, but not all. I'll say 86% is cringy. Luni didn't want the gacha community to be like this in the first place. And if you hate gacha life that much, then go and see gacha club.

As a gacha tuber I think the gacha community is shit, they ruin fandoms, make serious topics trends, a lot of them are very toxic. But that doesn't makes the game bad or the entire community. I like to stay away from the community and make original content using gacha and stay away from the horrible trends that emerge from the community. But you see what I like to do is split the community in 3 sections. Section 1 is the awful, horrible, disgusting, etc creators that normalize abuse, make gacha heat, cringe stories etc. Section 2 is the creators who makes beautiful content that is appropriate, beautifully animated, great art work, and pretty nice people. Section 3 people who don't even wanna be in the community and they just wanna make content using an easy to use app. So id say don't hate on the community as a whole for something only a small portion did because thats generalizing and generalizing is a very toxic thing to do and just try to change section 1 of the community to be better.

I know exactly what's going to happen in the comments. The app is alright but for me, it gets boring over time. The following sentences are about the videos I use to watch when I typed specifically the FNAF fandom .Most of the videos I watched are very similar and in most, made (majority being children) create certain content that are 18+ I can guarantee that most of these children putting 18+ and all that are under 13 years old. Also, there are a lot of su!cide topics. Genuinely, most of these younger children pose older than their actual age really. I'm not even going to get started on the "ships". These children just "ship" children together or adults and children somehow. A great example is the FNAF fandom. 💀

This is why I don’t like the Gacha community’s bad side. Too many weird fetishes like the uncomfortable urine, feces, Gacha heat and vore fetishes etc. And even going far to disrespect the diseased. I know there some people on the good side of the community are (sometimes) the only normal and sane ones that make amazing Gacha videos with cool effects, editing and stuff and I can admire them for that since those look like they take a while to do but I mostly hate the really weird (cringe) and bad side of the community. My honest opinion is that gacha the app itself isn't bad, it's mostly the people who watch it. The community can be great, and there are so many gacha content creators, but people normally just focus on the bad side of it. Some parts of the gacha community are problematic though, no disagreeing with that.

Reasons I left the gacha community...
-There are too many stories that just give me second hand embarrassment, like 'The alpha's pet tomboy' Yeah, those stories
-Furries. I have nothing against a lot of furries, a lot of then are cool but furries in the gacha community are just plain cringe.
-Romanticization of m@fias, g@ngs, k1dnapping, ect. The whole thing just disturbs me. The leader of a m@fia is most likely NOT gonna be a hot yandere.
-Fujoshis. If you don't know what a fujoshi is, it's basically a girl who is obsessed with yaoi or boyxboy ships. The problem i have with them, is that they always f*tishize gay men, and persecute lesbians. They're also just plain cringe with the way they talk.
-Toxic ships. Fujoshis in the gacha community often ship things such as Bakugo x Deku, or romanticize bullying. Bullying isn't something to be romanticized, it's a horrible thing that can take a great toll on someone's mental health. There's also bullying double standards. Like, if you're getting bullied by a girl or someone ugly then it's horrible and wrong, but if you're getting bullied by a hot guy then it's okay? All bullying is wrong no matter who does it.
-Cringey kids. It's just with the way they talk that's just so infuriating. Like 'UwU don't steal mah cookies!!!' and unfunny BS.
-Toxic trends. There are many trends out there that romanticize horrible things, such as @buse. Not to mention, the lack of originality in them is just a no for me.
-Sh1tty grammar. This is probably just a me problem, but the grammar in half of the stories just screams 'I'm in Elementary school and I'm failing English class.'
-The cringey stories. The stories are literally just a girl's fantasy, and it makes me wanna bang my head on the wall. Like, as someone who doesn't do the romance thing, I just want a cool, intriguing story, not a trashy romance, but that's just a me problem.
Overall, the gacha community it just horrifying in general. Also, please don't spam 'NoT aLl GaChA iS lIkE tHaT' I do not want to hear it.

(I've seen Gregory x glam Freddy ships bro, I regret watching so much gacha shit)
In reality the platform itself isn't that bad however it's a pretty toxic community. And that happens when you have edgy 11-14 year olds on a platform like this it's the same thing with goanimate however it's not a small minority that makes the shit and weird content it's a pretty big minority if a minority at all. Which I doubt at this point
I used to be one of the oldest gacha life members way back in 2018, I loved the new style, but in around spring 2020, gacha heat took a big instant hit, everything became slowly to what it is today, lots of LGBTQ, fake depression, all the bad thing s you imagine to come out on an innocent looking chibi dress up game, I knew I had to quit, heck it got too far, from underaged people going to discord, getting groomed by older people, addicted to gacha heat, all the shit, man I hate it on what it has become 😐
Gacha gives me an itch in the roof of my mouth that only a .40 AEP round can scratch.

You probably saw the cringe compilations (which tbh, they just made me question the logic most of the time, but I never saw much cringe) that had short vids and channels that post that content can get popular with only a few of those comps because the bad/cringe side of the community is the one that everyone always talks about

It's not really that they attacked, they we're in the community even in 2018-2019, it' just that we scrolled these kinds of videos and didn't care about it
But in 2020 that's where it kinda changed because people clicked the videos, talked about it, did reactions, explaining the problem and other things. So I think it's kinda the fault of a lot of us, because we watched it and gave it attention, that made even more people know about it, reacting to it and talk about it
