other ethnicities can study there. its an HBCU (historically black college and university) so many black people will be there because it was founded to educate students of african descent. I'm pretty sure you're aware of how american history is where black people weren't allowed to do a lot of things so we created our own, thus being HBCUs. However any ethnicity can study there.

Howard University is a Historically Black University. They are open and encouraging to non-black people. However, sadly, most non-black people are not interested in Historically Black Colleges or Universities. Therefore, Howard is majority black.

APPLY. Do a lot of extracurriculars and community service. A GPA of at least 3.4 is good too.
