Martin Anastacio I want to know too and what kind of glue do you use I’m new to this
5:32 I think she bakes it with the pin inside.

Wow
Omg thx so much since I'm stuck here at quarantine I'm prolly going to buy clay online
Similar situation here. I have some clay and tools that had been sitting in my shelves forever, so I decided to use them now and I'm watching this so I don't mess up and feel as if I am wasting the clay.
Yeah I'm like that sometimes
Yesss
No need buy clay because you can make your own clay with:
flour
and
nail polish
Thanks for 👍 my comment ❤️u
It’s hard but very worth it
Edit: It’s been 2 hours and I have finally made all the cute charms and they turned out absolutely fabulous
Hi everyone! I apologise for song of the audio in this video. The background song that I used at the beginning of the video recently changed its rules, so I received a copyright claim and had to mute it 😓

Also I have found that Parchment Paper or Wax Paper comes in handy as an alternative work surface. Helps keep your clay from sticking, and also helps with any clean up afterwards.

Wait I cant figure out how to make the polymer clay soft mine is hard as a rock
Lillian Petersen there is a softener liquid on amazon
@@lillianpetersen9315 if the clay is fairly new you just have to keep conditioning (kneading) it to warm it up -- this usually takes a while and is the worst part LOL
I GUESS ANYTHING REQUIRES A BIG PATIENCE!!!
Finally, now I can use my incredible play-doh molding skills for an actual purpose
XD

I am obsessed with your channel! I've always wanted to make sweets charms, but I gave up when my first attempts came out terribly and ended up putting all my tools and clay aside for years. I finally started again recently thanks to your tutorials. Thank you for helping me get my confidence!

ım using my apple pencil for the shaping it works
Thankyou so much for this video! It was awesome, just like you! You always have the best designs and tutorials! I'm Aussie, so I really hope to meet you someday!
I live in VIC like her!
I love your quick and easy styles. I have never worked with clay except for play-doh when I was little. Now I did love play mud pies and decorating them. Thanks for your videos and will be binge-watching.
These ideas really inspired me to make my own creations.
Does anyone have any tips on keeping clay/work surface clean my clay always ends up getting really dirty
Yes. you can work on glass or use alcohol ( or any other cleaning chemical) and wipe down your area.
Also, if you have trouble keeping clay clean, use cornstarch or baby powder to easily remove smudges, fingerprints, and dust😉
I work on top of parchment paper and it works really good
I put parchment paper on my table and tape it down. Works wonders.
Can you do a video on comparing polymer clay brands?
What do you do with polymer clay charms once you've made them? They are so cute, but I can't imagine what I'd actually do with them.
Thank you! I love videos like these as an early Christmas gift my moms freind bought me a clay kit and I want to make some charms:3
I made the strawberry and donut! i started off like this is gonna be hard, soo easy especially with the guidance in the video!
You teach at my school
Really?
Lucky!
wow!
Ms hately
Omg ur so lucky i would love dat
That was so helpful. They don't sell the tools around here so i didn't know how to make most things or what could be substituted for the tools. Thank you so much. I love your tutorials.
Yeah.I rolled out a small cylinder of clay and put a needle inside one end. Baked it, and had a needle tool.
Sewing pins, needles, metal cookie cutters, toothbrushes, sandpaper, foil and pizza cutters all work great too :)
1:51 are the sprinkle strips floating? XD
Woah
It's probably a glass table with a clear layer
Wow! It actually looks like it’s floating!!!
Its because she placed glass on top of her work surface
I've been really loving arts and crafts so I just had to watch this video! I'm new to this channel and it looks great!☺️ you just gained a sub!🤗❤️ p.s: my favorite was the bunny🐰😅❤️👍🏻🐰

Where do you get all these tools at? What shop or art supplies shop? What country is the shop in I'll do anything got the tools!
Thank you I did this with my brother and it was fun😊😊❤❤🎉
a very nice tutorial, thanks for sharing , you make things look easy
Ladonna Astle right? I try to make them just as cute but more often than not is a “nailed it” attempt (as in the Pinterest fails kind) oh well, it’s still fun :) 🦇
just made a planet and flower charm for my first time with polymer clay! super simple and this really helped so thank you :))
This is perfect! I just ordered some clay to make my first charms.
You should check out SugarCharmShop and ACupOfCakeTv. They're polymer clay artists too😉
For people who don't want to make all the extra details or don't have coloured clay, you can just paint it, it worked well with me.
I have tried to make it but it take a lot of time to dry and more in humid weather but the experience was good
nice trick
but can you please comment that for how many time we have to bake it please
I just bought polymer clay and im going to start a small buisness, i cant wait to do thesee
Did you bake with microwave?
Hi Rachel! I was wondering if u had any tips and tricks on baking polymer clay, because I tried making some charms for the first time and the bottom parts of them burnt and they melted down a bit. The oven I used isn’t that good but I feel like there is a way I could make them better. Anyway, thank you, this video was really good😄
Can you make a comment mean always to use the record button so it may be wrong
So cute polymer clay charms !
Cool video I love your videos
It si amazing Miss Hateley ❤❤
How long do you cook the clay for and what temperature
polymer clay is and air-drying material
wickedmilk no it’s not? Not at all. You can leave it out for years and it won’t dry.
I love these tiny little charms they are so adorable I have always wanted one of those like who can resist something like that I am sure those are pretty popular where they sell them 🤩
How do you get the small piece of clay to stick to the other clay, like the sprinkles, without having to squish it and ruin the shape?
Rachel you inspire me so much!! Oh and thanks for making this video u are literally the only person that made a video of how to make polymer clay charms for beginners that helped the most I was looking for that 🙂😁
Hi Sandra
I love it. I can't wait to start to make my own creations. Thank you for the excellent tutorials
Hi Janelle
Whenever I bake my polymer clay in my oven (it’s Sculpey) it has this sticky amber colored liquid that seeps out of the clay, any idea what it is or how to stop it from happening?
I’ve never heard of that sorry- maybe try contacting Sculpey
Creative Rachy ok thanks I think it might have been because I used soldering wire instead of armature wire
@@coenchaffin6441 its deff soldering wire it melts at high temps lol
So cute, thanks it’s just what i need it!
Is it just me or after you have made like 10 charms u put them all in your hads and just play with them out of satisfaction lol?
Thank you so much for the inspiration and knowledge! 😀💕
Hi Davina

the bunny is ADORABLE! 😊
JBKons Creations I’m watching this late but it’s Easter in a few weeks and so my baby bats and I are going to try the bunny!
@@honeybattoys Um... how can bats work with polymer clay?
Ok but how so you not get fingerprints all over it?!
Who are these dislikes?!?!?! I guess, they'll be the few...😑
Haylee Barker they’re just trolls. I’m a tiny channel and already have some... I guess for the soul purpose of discouraging people doing more with their lives.
These are so cute! 😍
Hi. I made the flower but one of the petals broke off. May I know why? Is it bc of the clay I use or I didn't bake it long enough? Hope you can reply 🙇♂️
So much clay this is such a good idea
Tysm this is how I make my earings
Ur vids are sooooo good
I make charms on my UA-cam too and I can say that you are really talented Rachel!!!
Frank You are a scooter I love you
Do they dry in the air so they don’t crumble apart? Never worked with this clay before.
No, they are polymer clay which is an oven bake clay :)
@@creativerachy how long do you bake for?☺️
I loved making the donut keychain, definitely worth the while!

The only problem I have while working on clay is that when I press them down it leaves fingerprints.
Omg thank you so much I really wanted to start a small business and since I consider myself good with arts and clay I wanted to do this I love you soooo much
