So beautiful, I love seeing the younger generation learning how to take care of their hair and grow it down their backs my sister always had hair down her back naturally I always had to do some work lol thank you hun for the video 🫶🏽
I’m normally a buzz cut girlie but I grew my hair out in about 7 months. All my coworkers thought my hair was fake, all black people by the way!! I told them water, grease and leave in conditioner was all I used. Our hair is very simple!! Watering your hair every day or every 3 days is the key. Black women are horrified of getting their hair wet when in reality it’s the only way to actually put moisture in your hair!!
🎉😢It’s is so sad the psychological damage that has been done to many Black people with hair. So many bad haircare practices came along with chemical relaxers & curly perm use. They didn’t have to let racism make them hate their hair & call it nappy even till this day. I thank God I grew up with a family of lovely black women who never called my hair or their own hair nappy. 🌺🌷💅🏾❤️💃🏿💃🏻💃🏽❤️💅🏾🌷🌺
I love that you showed that simple is best you young lady my daughter is 6 with waist length 4C hair i explained why her hair is so beautiful because we keep it simple & protected. Doing the most heat, color, extensions etc requires a lot more maintenance. I look forward to watching more of your videos ethnic hair in general doesn't have to be expensive or complicated❤ ❤❤
We must be twins because I just started this same routine except I rinse the conditioner out (co-wash) first use mielle leaves-in conditioner, and then blue magic with black castor oil mixed and seal it with shea moisturize curl enhancing smoothie … my LOC method… it work wonders and hardly any shedding ❤
I do the same for my protective style. I wear my bun in three different areas top, middle or back. I love that you only use simple ingredients! Thanks for sharing.
Wow...finally! This is the first video that l have seen with someone who has hair that looks the same as mine! Your hair is alot longer...but that is the only difference l can see. I am definitely going to try this method cause my hair stays dry. In the past l used grease all the time and my hair loved it. I stopped because a hair stylist said l should use oils instead. Now l am going back to grease because as l said my hair is always dry.
My new hair crush❤❤❤I I love that you use good old blue magic! I used that in my daughter’s hair when she was little and she had looooong hair. Thanks for sharing ❤
Your hair is so pretty, when my hair was longer I use to do this too, but I did two braids instead of one. My hair grew so long using hair grease and wearing it in two braids on a daily basis.
I’ve recently started using a small amount of the curlsmith soufflé as my “gel”/“edge control” and it’s awesome! Nothing moves and it dries pretty quickly
You are beautiful (and funny😅) and well received in giving your healthy hair care instructions. Had been using Blue Magic throughout my life and it helped in nourishing my hair as a sealant. Thank you so much.🎉❤ New subbie🎉
Hair goals. We have the same texture and I have all the products ima definitely going to try this out. And I use edge booster for thick and coarse hair it’s work pretty good. It doesn’t leave a white cast even when hair is not clean.
This is so interesting. I'm really going to try this with my 8 year this schiol year and keep things simple. Three questions though. When you do wash your hair, do you still not rinse out your conditioner? Do you ever deep condition? And how often do yoy put your concoction on your hair and scalp?
Your hair is beautiful. ❤️I’ve seen other BW doing the same thing. How come the older black women don’t use the blue magic stuff in their hair instead of all the wigs and weaves? Things that make you go 🤔
I gave a like just because you kept it real and I love your hair I've been learning what my hair loves and it definitely loves wash n goes leave in conditioner and grease on the scalp that's it big chopped two months ago and hair already back in a fro. I also use Aussie shampoo and conditioner love it
I'm the 2k like person, but your hair is so long and beautiful.😊 I think that is so awesome you decided to share with others your own technique on how to grow out their own hair.
Your scalp don't ever stink from wet styling? I love wet styling because once you take the scarf off its so sleek but the inside (base of the hair) still be wet even days later and then it gets a mildew smell. I stopped doing because of that.
Yeah I have thick dense hair, so doing that doesn't work for my scalp. I already suffered for trying it. I think those with thinner hair can get away with that.
I can only style my hair when it's wet from after washing it, whether i put braids, twists, or a ponytail because it's so much more manageable than working with dry hair. Personally me neither my hair never smells or anything, in fact it be smelling good like the products even days or weeks later after taking the style out
Not if you wash your hair regularly and really good. Your hair will always smell like the products you use. My hair is VERY thick and it’s waist length so I have to style it while it’s wet.
LOVE YOUR HAIR!! #GOALS!!!!! Does the blue magic make your hair grow down over time because it is so moisturizing? I'm trying to get that hang time like you! AND I'm about to go back to old school Blue Magic as welL RIGHT NOW!!! FR FR!
Hey alexus I just discovered your video is the doo grow oil the stimulating grow oil, the mega thick or anti itch as there is there versions?. Also do you only use the blue magic one do you use the green one too in the mixture. Also what shampoo do you use? Love from london uk new subscriber here xx
Hey! It’s the mega thick doo grow oil. I use blue or green blue magic. You can mix them together if you want. I use Aussie moist shampoo. Thank you for the support! London is cool! 💖
I have high porosity hair as well do you air dry or use a diffuser or blow dryer . I use blue magic as well nothing else keeps this high po hair moisturized
My hair is around the same length but I whenever I put my hair in a braid no matter how lose it causes me pain 😢 and it prevents my hair from drying and makes a mast mold smell . It’s very weird I grew up wearing braids but my hair can’t handle any tension now
Gorgeous, Girl...and so sweet! TFS. Also...PLEASE do you have a link or the deets for that particular version of "Fine China" you used here? Shazam pulled up Drew 021's version, but it sounds a bit diff. This one here sounds more soulful/jazzy, and better than that and any other I've heard.

High porosity
