DHRME and Andy's tech review have pointed out that these are tuned pretty much the same way that the Air 3 pros were out of the box. But of course you said something about that and they retuned it with a firmware update. But you haven't said anything about this why? This is very confusing. 💯🤔

The recent firmware update made a huge difference. The ANC became a lot better. These buds are totally worth the cost.
I've been a long journey (well not that long i suppose) doing a research of earfun free pro 3 regarding anc performance. Also, any video about earfun free pro 3, there is comment from you talking about how bad the anc is. My question is, is it really effective. Do you have any tws besides the earfun free pro 3. @@Ambatufakingnat The update made the ANC a lot better. I also have tried the Free Pro 3s but stem style buds don’t fit me well so I returned them. I also have the Soundcore Life 3i buds and they sound great.
Comparison of anc to the airpods pro or something like that so we have a baseline? Also how is the mic on these?
@@saadabdullah4245 AirPod Pros and the second generation have much better ANC but these are passable. The mics are decent.
But did the update also improved the transparency ambient mode?

@@Ambatufakingnat basically it did nothing , just lowered around 10% of low freq noise , with this updates improves to around 30%, go with air pro3 if you want decent ANC

I have these based on your 1st review. The Ear Fun sound is amazing. I do wish they were a bit better with the ambient sound and the mics were a tad better. But these are worth the price! They are lightweight and overall one of my best earbuds.
I agree 100 percent really my only gripe is transparency isn't too good but otherwise phenomenal pair of buds

The problem that a lot of people don’t recognize this smallest company is because they are good but most of us need good mic’s and unfortunately some of this earbuds don’t have the good quality of the bigger brands mic’s, in my personal opinion i need a earbuds with good mic’s and most of them don’t have them, I own 23 earbuds and only a few of them I can use while I work but yes Earfün has the best sound for the money when it comes to sound only and they are yes a great value for the money.
After the Sony XM4's update fiasco, I'm scared to update any earbud/headphone app, in case they mess it up like Sony did
I tend to agree, the value brands like EarFun offer is solid. EarFun isn't necessarily the best of the best but it is a budget option that is worth more than what it sells for; without needing to spending a lot more for a pair from Samsung or from Sony. I gave my nephew a pair of EarFun Air Pro 3 before he started his semester at a university. Phone calls are pretty good and the noise cancelling is surprisingly well done. No complaints from him so far.
I recently got the blue version of these, bc I do like the look of almost anything in blue… I did buy the black version first and was so impressed by them. Value for sure. I actually gave those away to a friend of mine bc I bought the blue ones, bc he was looking for something for himself that was good, but not bank breaking good. Once he tried them, he became an instant fan, and he gave me a nice bottle of scotch for them… haven’t opened the scotch, but so far he’s super happy with these. I kinda wish I waited for the price drop though. Haha

How are these compared to the Soundcore Space A40? They're the same price right now.
In my opinion, I like the sound of the soundcore Space A40 because it does sound more open than the Earfun Pro 3. HOWEVER, it's not that much brtter. I will chose over earfun air pro 3 over the Soundcore because you have more customized controls.
The ANC on both are about the same. I might give the edge to Ear FUN (my opinion)

1:51 Based on this image the app and buds have been updated yet _again_ since😀. Fw is v0.2.3 and Ambient mode now has two settings, 'default' (which was already good) and 'fully transparent', which sounds like you're not wearing earbuds.

@@Ambatufakingnat Still best with typical lower to mid frequency noises like engines, fans etc. Higher ones are attenuated enough to make them tolerable at least. Some say the included foam tips help further but I haven't bothered testing that.
liked these but volume levels were not high enough. soundpeats airpro 4 are meant to to be better. soundcore liberty 4 nc are the the best at the price point but didn't my ears! thought they sounded as good as my momentums 4 for a fraction of the cost. amazing value
i have the l4nc as well but i dont like their nozzles which makes me cannot switch to spinfit eartips

EarFun UA100 = Shanling UA2 Plus.
EarFun EH100 = Shanling SONO.
These look identical to the earfun air pro 3s, but with less battery life.

Please dont compare to the top ones. Chinese is Chinese after all. After a while, these go down. Not worth the money. Add a bit more and get better earbuds. Btw, are you being paudi by earfun???!!
