Hey Anakin; you right! When people are on some bs sometimes you need to slow down and figure out how to punish and counter their bs; in the last couple weeks after trying harder to cool down on fights like these I've managed to finally get out of garyu to mighty ruler and am doing pretty decent in mighty ruler. Great advice alot of people forget about (month of me being overly rushy and impatient)
Any chance we can get some replay analysis of Tekken King and above ranks? Would love to see your insight and commentary on more of the metagame/mental battle and reads that are happening compared to the execution of combos or lower rank gameplan adjustments. Also would love to see your analysis on a replay where the player wins the first game but then gets downloaded and beat the next two games, and how their opponent adapted but the player did not (and how the player should have counter-adapted) Great content, thanks Anakin!
I’ll try to ask to see if there are any next time. Generally I’ve never really received requests from those ranks and above. Maybe they’re too shy or nervous? I’ll try!
hey i recently reach fujin on reina thanks. you may not read this comment but your guides and your casual plays really help me new moves for reina that i did not know of.. you have a good day
Sup Anakin, man I’ve been subscribed and following you since the release of Tekken8 and I’ve really enjoyed the knowledge you share in videos like these. Keep it coming 🫡
sigh I've put in several hours everyday for like the past 2 months and I still suck so bad and it's demoralizing... losing motivation I hope something clicks soon :(
@anakin I’m a huge fan I will pay whatever u want just to train me more in tekken I follow all your videos and still no progress I will pay for your lessons
Anakin much respect have you done any of these on king? Stuck on tenryu now however im beating flame rulers, hell even kishins sometimes but sometimes i get destroyed by shinryus or mighty rulers..
Bro tell you what. I once enrolled myself to a tekken coaching program because im such a noob and the coach put me in a discord group. There i saw from the previous enrollees was the name or ign of a top pro player in our place. Bro tekken is such a hard game, we never stop learning, even pro players seeks advise and still learning.
@@Pokohh that guy is already ranked god of destruction, i always watch his gameplay online, he's almost unbeatable in every match, he's a top pro player. I was in disbelief when i saw his ign from the enrollees list because i was expecting a noobs list just like me. I was wondering what kind of advise he seeks LOL. But it is what it is bro. Tekken is a hard game LOL. We just dont stop learning.
He knows what he wants to do and is quick to pull the trigger. Doing the ‘right’ things but being slow to do them will end up turning it into the wrong thing
This is what's wrong with you hardstuck orange and red ranks. You guys focus too much on "combos" and being honest instead of capitalizing your opponent's weaknesses. If someone's trash at blocking or punishing a certain move then keep doing it, if someone's trash at throw breaks, then throw.
@@CG1337Noob I understand what you mean if it not broken don’t fix it but what happens when you actually run into better players? What then? You spend all this time spamming the same moves instead of working on other things? I don’t have much room to talk considering I’m struggling but I feel like taking the time to learn instead of banking on spamming moves and creating bad habits is not the way you’ll eventually grow as a player.
how can I take advice about ranking up fast from a dude who's been playing for 20+ years. It would be like asking a 90 year old lady how to be a toddler
I love tekken, but no matter what anyone says. Its lame and a disgrace that to be elite at this game you have to learn two game glitches that namco has decided not to fix. Back dash cancel is a glitch nf this fuzzy blocking ducking is a glitch. If namco would fix those things then real strategy would occur for new players. Blocking low should be by visual or by anticipation only. To fuzzy block 100pct of 50/50 plays is lame.
Bro, if anything, back dash cancelling and fuzzy ducking adds depth to Tekken’s gameplay and provides more nuanced strategies when reaching high level Tekken - I wouldn’t consider them glitches but more like techniques that have been around in previous Tekken’s and is embraced by the community AND developers. Plus, new players benefit from a steep learning curve and it encourages growth. It seems like you view these two things as barriers when you could be using them as elements to enhance your gameplay. Basically, not lame.
You don’t understand what fuzzy guarding is….fuzzy guarding doesn’t work for 100 pct of 50/50… it’s for CERTAIN strings that have a High and mid variation ..so if you are going to complain about something at least be little more knowledgeable about it… ALSO chikirun is a very elite players and doesn’t use Korean back dash in this game… tekken in general is hard and takes time to get good. People just love to complain because they don’t want to do the work to get good. No disrespect.
Good thumbnail I laughed

How is this jin a tenryu?
T8 red ranks look like t7 greens
How did this guy get to red ranks? I’m struggling in orange ranks. This Jin never hit a sub optimal combo and legit using the same moves😂

Fair enough. Seeing players like this in those ranks gives me hope considering this is my first Tekken since Tekken 3.
I’m in red ranks with a trash combo game

That literally makes no sense, coaches and trainers have a decade or even more of practicing or analyzing their sport
Most women take care of children I think they know how they act.
