4:05 In defense of Macy's, I panic-bought the nicest set of sheets I own late at night at a Macy's after arriving back to school and realizing I forgot sheets. I never would have bought more than bargain sheets but it was the only open place nearby. Trust me, price and thread count make a real difference and I'm not proud of how I know.
Unironically, "look mom I made it, oh wait, you can't see me" is comedy GOLD. and I completely understand and respect not being able to hold back the John Cena joke, even if it does downgrade it to just comedy platinum.
I respectfully disagree. ANH opens aboard a brightly lit spaceship, TFA on a planetary surface at night. No matter how similar the plot situations may be, in cinematic terms the scenes are radically different.
@anthonybernacchi2732 I agree but the opening of ANH isn't so iconic without a reason. It captures everything - from the space battle, through the hallway shooting and finally the entry of Darth Vader. It was great for its time and still holds up pretty well. I think it deserves to be at least in top 5.
Honestly The Force Awakens to me is such a disappointment because if (major if) you can ignore the issues with Rey beating Kylo for no reason it’s actually a pretty good film, albeit a little too similar to A New Hope. It introduces some really interesting plot lines (that go nowhere or somehow worse than nowhere) like Rey’s parentage, Snoke, Kylo’s descent into the dark side, the disappearance of Luke, Finn betraying the First Order, I could honestly go on for a while. Even the opening of the film is amazing, but alas it led to extreme dissatisfaction after the next two movies. Also putting Return of the Jedi that low is a crime. I mean the one line Vader has alone carries it quite far “I hope so commander for your sake. The Emperor is not as forgiving as I” -The man who chokes someone to death because they failed him twice.
Vader doesn't fight the Rebels because that stuff is beneath him. You think he want to do grunt work like that. But seriously it was until long after in the comics when he started to become the emporers errand boy but even then I'm sure he doesn't want to do that kinda grunt work himself it was at the time of rogue one he needed to do it himself because only he could absolutely guarantee getting the stolen plans anyone lesser would screw it up. That's what I say anyway although he did fail anyway

Putting A New Hope at #8 and The Force Awakens at #2 considering how similar they are is a CRIME.

I tried to comment but then it told me " only if i dont commit war crimes" what kind of channel is this?!? Shame.

@BigDaddyStarWars who reads the little words anyway?!
I hate the sequels so much that I think you mention them too often.
Not even gonna finish the video, original Star Wars below Rise of Skywalker is simply unacceptable. Let me guess: Revenge Of The Shit is number 1.
bro just called the best movie in Star Wars (in my opinion) shit 😭
