Wow this is a fantastic review of BdC Parfum...so accurate and deep. I think BdC Parfum is underrated in the UA-cam community, it is nowadays the best "blue" fragrance out there. I personally enjoy it a lot!

I like the dna of the edt & edp but never found myself wanting to wear it. I've not tried the parfum, so it's great to learn more about it. 🙏 appreciate your Insight
It's my favourite from the line. Love the way it smells with its citrus, pineapple and sandalwood. A lot of people mostly hate this because of its not beast mode and not worth the price either. A lot of it could can be attributed to perfumes like Sauvage Elixir which are pricy but the performance makes it worth it for them. But Chanel doesn't really do beast mode. It can be scene with their famous No.5 too. The pure parfum is really bad at projecting but it lasts for a long time. It is meant for yourself and anyone you let come near you. It is an occasion for sure. BDC parfum may not fill a room but it lasts for a super long time and the trail it leaves is really nice. Plus, the way it is made makes it really easy to wear anywhere and anytime. You don't have to worry about committing chemical warfare. Every fragrance has its place and this is really nice to wear. Bang on! It smells like shower gel. My Chanel edp came today it’s definitely different to what I normally wear as I’m an Oud guy. Not the formulated TF gimmick that is not Oud but from Indian farms and from the leading fragrance house Arabian Oud. Chanel Bleu is nice to me it smells like soapy shower gel, it’s something I’d most likely wear after a shower. I’m expecting Chanel Sport tomorrow so I’m looking forward to this. I’m also expecting Arabian knights by Arabian Oud and silk musk by Ajmal. Like your reviews it would be nice if you could do reviews on the fragrance houses Arabian Oud and Ajmal I’ve been using them for 20 years and I’ve never been disappointed. New subscriber 🇬🇧
Those saying it shouldn’t be a flanker, stop it; It totally smells like BDC. Parfum smells great, but I totally miss the Grapefruit/ginger opening of the EDT. Either way, I get it, and I enjoy it. I think I still prefer EDT over the Parfum. Projection is better on EDT as well.
I bought the EDP, loved the opening, but hated the dry down. I was just like you... I want to wear this, I like it and I hate it at the same time. So the bottle stayed in my drawer for a couple of weeks until I decided to give it a chance with the mindset that I still don't like it. To my surprise, not that I didn't like it, but it begun to intrigue me in the most pleasant way. Back to now, I just love the EDP, and because of that I also bought the Parfum. And these 2 have taken over my daily wear completely. It's not just the smell, it's the state of mind that Bleu de Chanel either EDP or Parfum takes me into.

@Christopher Moore I would say, it depends on the temperature. The EDT yes, for the EDP and Parfum version, I would say yes on a mild day (15-20 Celsius / 60-70 Fahrenheit) or in the late evening/night. But, in the day time I would limit my sprays in the summer (maybe 1, two at the max for the EDP/Parfum). The EDT is just more "fresh" with more citrus.
@@ronatif Never (aka. maybe once or twice) used the PARFUM version in the summer, to heavy for me - it's only a fall-winter and early spring for me. Don't remember how long it lasted in the summer, but I would say a normal workday.

Bought Pure malt a while back and just now ordered BDC parfum from your recommendations. You're costing me money. I did get a $50 store credit with the Chanel purchase so basically a third off.
To many enthusiasts it may be simply a blue scent but when you factor in the originality of this scent before everything else that came after to me is the best and this flanker is the best of them all , is a 👍🏼👍🏼this is beautiful and distinct aroma that’s never fails in awakening confidence ,getting compliments here and there and never offensive and let’s not forget a year round king ... a most for anyone yes it is 🤴🙂
Olivia Polge is great but ever since he took his father's postion at Chanel he hasn't really released anything original. I don't blame him for releasing flankers of his father's work. However, I really hope he creates a new men's line for Chanel kinda like his father did with the Allure line.
I live in texas so right now i only use it for the night when im going to like a restaurant or a movie like last night i wore it for a movie and i was enjoying my own cent this is a moust keep on my colection for me great review
I prefer Parfum but I dislike the lack of Projection so I will go with Edp. When I tested the scents at retail. My first impressions was wait…Edp and parfum smell identical.
Dior Sauvage Parfum is long lasting on me I don’t get the hate. I had Chanel Eau De Parfum and it wasn’t great on me. I might get the Parfum though if you have it.
That is the saddest Christmas light display, by far. LOL! Okay, I've said it before and I'll say it again. The BdC EDP and Parfum are nice, and arguably as nice'ish as the original EDT, but the EDT is better received, performs better, and is a much better bang for the buck over the two designed, which are designed to drain one's bank account. Enjoyed.
Always preferred the EDT on me and went back to it after a stint with the siblings, mainly due to less compliments with the flankers. But maybe I need to revisit this one.

Im surprised how others find the EDT but thats among my top favs. the grapefruit and incense blend just makes me crazy I like it a lot more than several of the Kilians and Amouages and Creeds Parfum is very good too
It's very similar (after the opening) to dior homme 2020, to my nose. Soft modern woods. Test both if possible and if the dior is good to you, buy that because it's cheaper.
I have the edp. Everyone likes it, except my dad. I like the drydown but dislike the opening. Good for the office but I have other frags I prefere. I tried once the parfum, but I need to give it a proper wearing to better understand it.
A bit of blue for the Dads. :-) Had (and used up) the EDT a while back and it was a lovely wear on me. I'll get another at some point so thanks for the review and comparison. I found the lights spectacular, but the switching-on lacked the necessary pizzazz.
Parfum is lasting longer, not projecting more than, say eau de toilette. That’s because of less alcohol - which helps cologne to project off of your skin. So it shouldn’t be expected that a parfum blend should project like a beast.

It's really good but I prefer it on other people than myself sadly..may i ask what are your top favorites in the designer that goes along the bdc parfum vibes?...I was thinking of either ysl y edp or sauvage edp.
The edt is the best. Best smell and performance of the three. And may i say the edt itself does not perform well at all like it used to. So you can imagine how badly the parfum and edp perform. In a fragrance i demand at least eight hours longevity and good projection for half the longevity, at least. Anything less than that is junk as far as i am concerned

I own the edt and the parfum. On me, I'd say the edt works in the hotter months and the parfum is perfect for the colder :)

I've had all 3 of the Bleu's. The EDT was not my thing, EDP was loved and used, but the Parfum version is my bae from late fall to early spring*smile*

Just got my 5ml sample in of Eau extreme and it’s pleasant but allure homme sport is officially the goat Chanel. BDC is great too

Edt has best performance. The parfum of bdc and sauvage have little to no projection. Very disappointing. Especially for the price
