RW was not only a great actress but a beautiful lady who refused to succumb to the perversions and abominations of Hollywood
God bless her
She was actually a huge pervert, and was even turned down male talent, because she didn't know some were gay.
She was hot....but one of the worst actresses in history...
Jup. Get a "gun".
@@leostawicki7283 Hey Leo! When you earn 1/3 of the respect, acclaim, recognition and income that Raquel has, then you can squawk about your negative opinion as to her acting ability. A third grader could act better than you could and I'm willing to bet women wouldn't use the word "hot" to describe you. She was 82 when she passed away, and looked better than you will when you do. Take a look in your mirror!
My parents took my sister and I with them to the movies in 1971 to see this. At LTA Marine corps Base Southern California. I was 11.
Raquel Welch is one of the best!
Just saw this movie..
Robert Culp.. Christopher lee... Not sure if it was Raquel Welch's 1st movie but,
Good movie. Liked it.
Not remotely her first movie. Amazed you've never heard of her earlier ones.
This was ... is a great movie.
Racquel was the sexiest actresses of the 60s. I have a lot of her posters from the 60s. We miss you alot. RIP. Love you ❤
Has there ever been a better looking woman in the movies than Raquel Welch ?
Bout to watch it now is it a comedy too from the looks of the trailer
Terence Jones ...Hannie Caulder is a story of revenge.
@@terencejones4528 Not a comedy, but their is humor in the stereotypical bd guys played by Elam, Martin, and Borginine. Everybody else is straight up.
Its subjective, but IMO Ms Welch was #1
She's in the conversation for sure.
Crazy film. Just finished watching.
Was it good ? Like Clint eastwoods?
@@samaelmartinus3273 You probably would like it but besides the fitting genre I wouldn't compare it to Eastwood films much. At times it takes itself Sam Peckinpah seriously with slow-mo action and then at others it's straight-up pulp exploitation not to be confused with real drama.
@@magnuskallas seen it, loved it. Rip raquel welch ❤️ 4evrr
Buena película de wuestern de Raquel welch
Which western movies with a female lead does it show a woman saying the word beat?
They said she couldn't act so naturally I had to watch the movie to see for myself. Yeah they blood really look really bad but I think it was meant to be partly comedy so I guess the director didn't really want it to be a play book for would be revenge any assasins.
But regardiing Raquel acting in the begining she was a little wooden like they said but towards the end she really got whole lot better some how and what do you expect that male critics would ever be like yeah digging a chic revenge murder.
Sure those that live by the sword die by the sword but if a pack of men like the Clemens brothers, murder the love of your life, rape you multiple times, burn down your home therefore your life, steal your horse and let the rest excase, leave you in the wilderness, naked and to die with no dignity see how well you can let it go and move on when there not much to live yeah it funny how only men are allowed to succumb to their anger and it's acceptable even expected even over verbal slights and yet women subjected to all that is expect to going on with their lives and knit!
By the way Raquel not only beautiful in this she was great I could easy watch which in the beginning I wasn't so sure about judging by the unusally juxtaposing elements such as the rapist being on the poster with the protagonist very bazzar with an R rating your kinda dreading there might be gratutious nudity and it'd be overtly violent but maybe it was their way of saying this is factional and these are actors and good one at that and this is a movie and don't try revenge killing at home is what you'd expect from Raquel Welch movie.
After watching it I had a new found respect for her and it was even kinda entertaining I guess the message is life still goes but I guess in extreme feminist movie we were going see no woman running off with a man into the sunset being the only worth while ending that sometimes a girls got to do what a girls got to do vibe is what I get when she replaces her mentor instead of marrying him and having his babies which initatially it seemed to be hankering towards however it's rating seem almost PG by today standards then R rating I've seen way worse in male westerns.
Look what we got for supper.
Aka Sadie Adler
Any female in the movies back then always seemed to have a rape to justify and make a revenge theme. Sad really.
It's sad they didn't show more of this so called rape scene.
