Unlike many other vtubers, Ui-mama's got a more down-to-earth and "real" vibe to the way she interacts with her viewers. Probably because she also works as an illustrator thus doesn't mind being known by her viewers, similar to Tamaki-kun.

She's like a very chill Watame. Although, Watame does play a kind of "childish" personality, while Ui's more mature.
Aren't most of hololive like this too anyways? Most of them only use their character as a gimmick for some jokes etc... but are mostly just using their own personality. The only one who go hard into her character is luna i think. Even miko (not at least, dunno about the past) basically just speaks with a childish voice and other than that she's just herself.

Escuse my ignorance but what the heck did Maimoto do?!
It was a joke stream.. they basically gathered all the female vtubers he had any run-ins with that could be 'willfully misinterpreted' and ran with it. The stream ended with pretty much everyone (Maimoto, Mea, Tamaki, Ui, and a few of the guests) judged as 'guilty' of one thing or another
