Thank you! Both sides of my bed have been gradually losing air for the past three weeks. The remote wouldn’t work and I came really close to putting the whole bed in the alley.
When I tried to change the Sleep Number setting following a brownout/power outage, the pump just let all the air out and wouldn't refill the mattress. Your double-button solution got it to work again. Thanks!
Easy Squeeze To sink a remote to pump 1 Turn on (plug in) pump 2 Press and hold up and down buttons 3 Release up and down buttons. Test remote for proper remote/pump sink I held my remote a few inches on top of pump during sink if that makes any difference What is really nice is I have 2 Sleep Number (Select Comfort) beds w 2 pumps and 1 remote Now My 1 remote controls 2 pumps.

Chatted with support and was immediately told I needed a new pump and remote $425. I did press the up and down arrows at the same time and yes it counts down, but I still get the error. Not sure if I need a pump or a remote.
The digital readout not showing complete numbers is a very easy fix. Take the unit apart and get the circuit board and monitor and lay it on the table. Use a hair dryer set to hot and move in from about 12” away at first towards the monitor screen. Do not over heat the screen. Watch it closely. Rotate and flip the unit over as to evenly heat it up until you see the monitor go completely dark then remove the heat. As the unit cools off it will go back to green. Put it back together and try it. If the numbers still do not show completely up, repeat the process until they do. If I remember it took two warmups for this to work.
Glad for you but maybe you helped some. I will unplug it again and hold top and bottom at same time and see what happens. We’ve slept on it for year with not knowing what “air” pressure is in it at all.
My pump makes no noise when plugged in anymore, no prompting event, it just stopped getting power, checked the cable against another device with the same input, cable that won't power the bed, powers that device just fine :/
I had to order a replacement remote for my select sleep number bed from e bay, will this work with my pump do you think? Any help would be appreciated before I waste money on a different remote!😎
If you can’t find the answer to a Google search, I would think you could call sleep number and ask them. You will want to make sure it’s compatible though.

I dropped my remote and busted it. I called the SN people and they replaced it no questions ask.

Any idea which set of buttons to use when you have a remote with both a left and right side set of buttons?
What a piece of junk. I found an ugly old style remote and it actually works.
Select comfort is the worst bed now used to be good now they're terrible and the new app spies on your sex life in the bed...
