Tony Martin Yes, It's well-documented that Bruce used stunt doubles in Enter the Dragon. Yuen Wah (perhaps best known as the Landlord in Kung Fu Hustle) did most of the flips and acrobatics. Jackie Chan allegedly performed some of the climbing and jumping stunts when Bruce's character was prowling around Han's island complex.
Even Jackie Chan has not done all his own stunts. A couple times Jackie had a broken bone or some other bad injury and needed a double to complete a movie.
Bruce did need stunt doubles for some things. In Enter The Dragon, all the stuff involving flips were done by stunt doubles. Lee had injured his back already by this time, and the acrobatics were not worth the risk to his lower back.

Please stop the "Was he a real fighter" debate. Fighters do it for fame and glory, martial artists do it for self-discipline and to achieve a peaceful state of mind. These are two completely different lifestyles. Chuck Norris practiced with Bruce, maybe he could beat Bruce in a real fight or maybe not, but he respects Bruce as an martial artist and was humble enough to learn from him. That is the respect martial artists show each other, without any concerns about who can beat whom, that is admirable no matter how you look at it. Monks in temples train all their lives and most of them will never end up fighting anyone, but doesn't that mean they are weak? Guess we'll never find out because we are trying to compare dogs with cats here.

@Ben Sprague yeah everything you said is true with the exception of a beef between Chuck and Bruce... they were actually very good friends and Chuck would hang out at Bruce's home because he had a nice workout area in his backyard so they would train together. Chuck always speaks highly of Bruce and even went out of his way to dispell the rumors that drug abuse lead to Bruce's death. It seems that Chuck doesn't speak much about Bruce in interviews because he has said all there is to say and he lost his friend and doesn't want to keep talking about it. All that being said Chuck Norris was the karate champion of the world... that "fight" between Chuck and Bruce was a Hollywood movie nothing more... Chuck did Bruce a favor at that time by agreeing to follow a hollywood script and lose a fight in a movie.. the fight scene ends with Bruce killing Chuck.... Is Chuck dead? No obvious not... Tony Martin Yes, It's well-documented that Bruce used stunt doubles in Enter the Dragon. Yuen Wah (perhaps best known as the Landlord in Kung Fu Hustle) did most of the flips and acrobatics. Jackie Chan allegedly performed some of the climbing and jumping stunts when Bruce's character was prowling around Han's island complex.
Even Jackie Chan has not done all his own stunts. A couple times Jackie had a broken bone or some other bad injury and needed a double to complete a movie.
Bruce did need stunt doubles for some things. In Enter The Dragon, all the stuff involving flips were done by stunt doubles. Lee had injured his back already by this time, and the acrobatics were not worth the risk to his lower back.

Please stop the "Was he a real fighter" debate. Fighters do it for fame and glory, martial artists do it for self-discipline and to achieve a peaceful state of mind. These are two completely different lifestyles. Chuck Norris practiced with Bruce, maybe he could beat Bruce in a real fight or maybe not, but he respects Bruce as an martial artist and was humble enough to learn from him. That is the respect martial artists show each other, without any concerns about who can beat whom, that is admirable no matter how you look at it. Monks in temples train all their lives and most of them will never end up fighting anyone, but doesn't that mean they are weak? Guess we'll never find out because we are trying to compare dogs with cats here.

Any fighter today that would engage him in his prime would never see the strikes coming, because Bruce was just so damn fast! @Ben Sprague yeah everything you said is true with the exception of a beef between Chuck and Bruce... they were actually very good friends and Chuck would hang out at Bruce's home because he had a nice workout area in his backyard so they would train together. Chuck always speaks highly of Bruce and even went out of his way to dispell the rumors that drug abuse lead to Bruce's death. It seems that Chuck doesn't speak much about Bruce in interviews because he has said all there is to say and he lost his friend and doesn't want to keep talking about it. All that being said Chuck Norris was the karate champion of the world... that "fight" between Chuck and Bruce was a Hollywood movie nothing more... Chuck did Bruce a favor at that time by agreeing to follow a hollywood script and lose a fight in a movie.. the fight scene ends with Bruce killing Chuck.... Is Chuck dead? No obvious not... It was a movie, just like Clint Eastwood shooting people on screen when in real life he can't shoot a gun for shit... it's a fantasy... Bruce Lee could not have beat Chuck in a real fight any more then Eastwood could have out shot John Wayne in real life.
