    I love making kefir! Been using it for years! I love to make a second ferment with lemon peel. I also make sourcream with it and I add it to smoothies, I use it in my baked oatmeal recipe and ferment the oats in it overnight before baking and for my sourdough pancakes and waffles instead of buttermilk, which I also let the batter ferment overnight before making. 😘 👌
    Kefir is a powerhouse for gut health!

    Hi April, Good to see you. I might give this a try this winter when we’re in AZ for 5 or so months. I’ll have more time for projects that are ongoing requiring care AND I’ll have access to raw milk which isn’t available readily in my state of WI, believe it or not … a state well known for it’s cheese and dairy products! I’ll also be able to share it with my almost 90 year old Mom who lives in AZ. Her gut will do a happy dance getting some real live cultures into it vs the brand that starts with an A and sounds like livia that she speaks so highly of and doesn’t realize that it’s really the equivalent of junk food.
    Thank you for sharing your knowledge and teaching us that we are smart enough to do this. ❤

Got my live grains last Thursday, woke them up, will be trying my first taste tonight on my 3rd batch that rested in the fridge. Feed my first 2 batches to the garden after dilution with filtered water so nothing is wasted. Good luck! Those grains grow quickly! I tried to buy some from Amazon but the reviews on it are quite bad . 🤔
    Do you know a seller that sells them fresh and does not cost much for them. 🤔
    If you get yours from Amazon who is the seller's name so that I can buy some . 🙂
    You show a lot of products that you use but you do not actually give us a link to the stores where we can buy them from . 🤔
    Thank you for all your great advice . 🙂
    Can't wait for tea time again.

      I don't suggest buying off of Amazon for living cultures, I'd consider Yemoos cultures I like the work they do.

    Okay, I'm so smitten with milk kefir and your channel.....read through the comments and found Yemoos and ordered...But, when using this product to cook with, I'm guess we are making things without heat? You can't bake with it, right? Just cold/room temp creations?

      You'll inevitably end up cooking with it and while it will kill off the good bacteria you'll still have loads of good nutrients that have oftentimes doubled in comparison to plain milk😊

    Hello Earth Angel, have you done a recipe for treating the whole family for worms. I know worms are more prevalent than people would care to know about. It can be an underlying symptom to many ailments. If you have would you mind posting a link. Please and thankyou ❤💫

    • @sheisofthewoods
      @sheisofthewoods  8 місяців тому

      You need to actually confirm that you have worms before trying to treat anything with a comprehensive stool test. If not you won't actually know what you're attempting to kill and won't likely succeed because you don't know what their life/hatch cycle is.

      @sheisofthewoods Wow thank you for your response just got notified. So appreciated as I know how busy you are. In New Zealand some advocate the use of Vermox twice a year to rid one of common worms one may come across. So many entailing, is it done for profit. Our family does an pumpkin, clove and papaya seed, charcoal cleanse. It won't harm us but may heal, whatever the outcome no harm is dealt. Thank you again for responding. I see people's Auras and yours my friend is conflicting. There is nothing dark only light but no celebration. I will delete in 1 hour. Thanx again

    I started making kefir a couple of months ago and my grains were looking so healthy but lately they've been getting smaller and separating, and the kefir itself after fermenting is grainy. Any suggestions?
