I received the travel palette as a Christmas gift. Can’t wait to fill with paint once I get a couple of the colors which I didn’t have.

Hi Michael, excellent paintings. Could you please tell us about Indian Yellow in your 2nd palette? How it's different from New Gamboge ? Why don't you use any light or cool Yellow like Hansa light ? Hope you will tell us once about your studio palette.
I learnt a lot from your video. You are a brilliant teacher. Thanks a lot.

Thank you very much for your feedback!
The main reason for choosing Indian yellow is that it is transparent. And gives the same transparent mixture. Hansa and New Gamboge are not transparent... For me this is critical. In addition, Indian Yellow is the brightest yellow color possible!

Thank you for this wonderful new year present 🎁 and for painting my country Armenia!!! I made so many attempts at painting this scene in the past, I can't express my amazement at watching a master painter working his magic at a scene I love so much... I would love to join parts of your workshop in Armenia end of April if at all possible!!!

You're amazing! Thank you for sharing your secrets so unselfish and captivating. I've learned so much about paper, colours and brushes when it comes to watercolor, because of your brillant videos. I got your brushes and your Daniel Smith selection for my birthday and I love it! And I love the way you deal with the colours and lights!

An excellent video, which I watched live. Happy New Year to you and your family.
When you're painting the second layer on the castle, how often are you checking the reference painting for accuracy? Do you just observe specific aspects that you want to get right and then do the rest in a more abstract way?
