Loved the music. I prefer vids like this with very little commentary so I enjoyed it very much. Thank you. P.S. I did Crib Goch a couple of weeks ago and...never again. I loved it when it was all over though. But it has inspired me to do more scrambling.
Did it for the first time Saturday 24th July 2021 Brilliant experience. Glad to see you all did it ok without any CHAOS. Not sure why the title is that way though
Good for you. Pleased you enjoyed the experience. Its a bit sketchy in parts and certainly gets the adrenaline going 👍 C.H.A.O.S is an acronym for the club im in - Climbing Hills And Other Sports !! Happy tracking 👌
Craig, Crib Goch is on my list but i was wondering if you can recommend something similar that i can have a go at first? I dont uave much scrambling xp yet and want to build up
Hey Karlo, check out Striding Edge on Helvellyn in the lake district. Similar experience but much wider and not as exposed Crib Goch. Highly recommended. Good luck 👍
In Wales, Moel Siabod (Ddear Ddu ridge), or Y Gribin in the Ogwen valley are both very easy G1's with all the scrambling escapable if you need. I'd recommend the Garry Smith scrambling book, or even better the newer Mark Reeves one ("Snowdonia mountain walks and scrambles").
Karlo Fandango - Striding Edge and Swirral Edge on Helvellyn. Halls Fell ridge on Blencathra. If you're okay with those, try Sharp Edge on Blencathra, all in the Lake District. Get plenty of experience of scrambling in exposed places before you tackle Crib Goch.
Hope this bunch never try the Alps of they are like that on a simple arrête ridge.... Check out any high level Alpine route... Try the Watzmann in Germany.. Similar idea, true mountaineers..
There's always one who has to try to big himself up. Anyone who tackles Crib Goch assuming it to be a simple ridge is an imbecile. It needs care and concentration, and you need to know you can handle exposed scrambling to avoid becoming crag fast.
You know that as a sentient human being, you have the capacity to turn the volume down, right? It actually burns less calories than having a whinge on here too. 😃

Thank you Moira. An interesting scramble indeed. Good to hear you made it across safely 👍

Well done. Much prefer commentary than music though.

Great day for it too.
The first time I did it I crawled all the way and my mate skidded along the full length of the ridge on his arse 😂
Wow that’s a sketchy ridge walk excellent ! subscribed and liked thx for the upload 👍
Thank you. Sketchy indeed but quite exciting. If you haven't tried it put it on your list 👌
Subscribed also. Happy hiking.
I will 😱 & thx 🙏🏼
NO F-IN WAY!

Really the music suckkkkkkks

They did it, quite an achievement, which is more than most. Music is irrelevant.
Actually, l thought the music was irritating, too (yes, l turned it off). Would've preferred to hear them talking to the camera and each other.
Crap choice of music, as is often the case with these kind of videos.
