For those coming later, I highly recommend hooking up the airport. If you start around the left handside there is a giant bunch of residential. Work your way up to the airport and there's another large residential section you can hook up. You'll get enormous amounts of money from this and with the airport there, you have extra carriages to haul at premium prices. From there follow the roads into the centre and I managed to get gold by 1992 Using the shinkansens seems to be the only way of getting the required average track speed. Also abusing bonds during the boom fazes is key. During a boom it's 4% and you'll be able to get $3k easily that will propel you past the recessions
That was lucky you got Siemens at the beginning of the game. He's worth his weight in gold for a metra scenario, where electric trains reign supreme. Your starting strategy was an interesting one. I never would have thought of using the shinkansen. Unfortunately, I never did particularly care for this scenario, so I don't know if the tactic I used for the Seattle Metra (of starting the line from the airport) would have worked just as well in the Munich Metra, but I don't see why it wouldn't. The heterogeneous mixture of buildings makes things interesting in this scenario. It's very unlike the Seattle Metra, where the residential, commercial, and industrial areas tend to be more homogeneous than the audience of a Donald Trump rally. Since a friend of mine pointed out a "nice" video recording program, I'm tempted to make a video of me moving narcotics in Privateer. I might even dub in my type of music in the background.... I'm also tempted to upload the intro to season two of Gangland Undercover since it isn't on UA-cam, but I need to read over the information on TV intros to see what sort of "fair use" claims I need to make in order to insure it stays up! 1:01:37 - This is one of the very few scenarios in which George Pullman is worthless!! **Laughs Uncontrollably**
