The altars have been completely redesigned couple updates ago, you missed a bunch of different features they can do such as enchantments, repairs or fuel improvements ;). Also, you can't kill the Ender Demon using a sword/bow, his lightning is very vulnerable to ~something~ though. The puzzle should be in every single mountain island unless a generation error happens, but it is pretty hard to find. The problem is you're too chaotic :P one of the goals I guess is the "old-school" style that didn't give you an obvious way of doing stuff such as solving puzzles or beating bosses. If you do add it to this crazycraft, you can give yourself a challenge of getting all the achievements, or at least killing all bosses and mini-bosses. Should be fun to see you failing at figuring stuff out :D.
