Good evening Katie, hope you are well and rested after your apt. We probably passed on the A590 as I was on Walney for the day. Yes I was surprised bacon was rich in vit D! You probably know that Vit D is not only important for bone development but essential for a healthy immune system. We brits have very low levels through much of the year as sunshine levels are low for many months. Supplements are recommended for those months! Cod liver oil is a great source as are oily fish such as trout, salmon and pilchards. I think I got a good natural dose on Walney as the sun was quite strong 🌞 Oh I was so pleased you got you tickets for Joey Mcintyre. That was quite some effort and stress they put you through 😢 Well have a good weekend, recharge the battery and enjoy the Coronation! All my best, Neville. 🙂🙃🙂
Hi Neville, sorry I'm only just replying back to you, been exhausted and not feeling too great today with pain, but I'm okay though. Aww yeah we probably did :) Vitamin D is good for many different things, sadly not many brits don't get enough of it.I struggle with seafood :/ That's great that it was sunny when you were on Walney, hope it wasn't too windy like it usually is there. The venue for the show have actually been good with any questions since the ticket stress, unlike Joey's team who still haven't responded to my email I sent on 30th April. Othis than this, I'm really excited to see him and going to London. (I'll be vlogging my trip (on my other channel) - I hope you have a good weekend! Take care :)
@@dinkyktsedsdiaries5018 Katie you really have no need to apologise. Your own wellbeing should be before anything else! I'm sorry to hear you've been unwell. I guess your excited about the London trip though! Yes the wind was strong on Walney but it was amazing to see the Grey Seal colony 🦭🦭🦭 and the Eider Ducks! Parked near the Roundhouse on the return, but as it was closed just sat and enjoyed that view! 🌹
I had Dexa scan in Kendal. I failed I scored 2 on the scale. I had to wait 11 weeks for my doctors rang me with the result. Risedale surgery Never get ill in Barrow.
I hope you are finally getting treatment to help you now. It's very hard to get in to see the GP or to speak to them on the phone, so I'm going to wait for my rheumatology team.
As hEDS, my Dr is asking me to do this test? Bones are stronger than alot of things, it's my joints. Why would my doctor send me to get exposed to high and low ionizing radiation?
Hello there, the radiation from the BONE DENSITY SCANS are really low. I would definitely get it done even if your results are good, and especially when you have EDS.
