You deal with this particular woman way too gently. To falsely accuse someone of rape is a form of murder. Investigated multiple times. Dismissed by police and courts.
Whoever that woman is she should serve time because her action only discredits women who actually has. been sexually assaulted. She definitely got off too easy, this is from a female perspective.

I absolutely support any woman who is a true victim of any type of assault. However, brining charges against someone several YEARS after you say something occurred is total BS. If you were assaulted in some way march your butt down to the police department and file a complaint within 24 hours or lib with it.
Certainly it sounds as if this particular story was an extortion plot. Yet, how many of these athletes don't remotely have the foundation to keep themselves out of compromising positions is actually discouraging.
We can all put ourselves in situations- but it is a recently an epidemic in sports, and frequently the outcome is reversed in most of these Sports world stories.

Thats like you accusing me of stealing your money but there is no evidence to prove it even if I did do it. No video tape, no witnesses so I can't be charged. They couldn't find proof. Same with Dak's case. So this is more about her incompetent attorneys that sent the extortion letter. The issue is does that satisfy Goodell because insufficient evidence isn't the same as if she came out and admitted she lied to extort money. Goodell could still do his own investigation like he did with Zeke when it was also determined by police no charges would be filed. How did that turn out for Zeke after the NFL did their own investigation?
