My hometown
I'm getting quite around these days...
First l was going up north from where l'm living, visiting a world famous spring flowers show.
And now - just in a flash - l'm having a walk around, all across the Ocean, in Newark, Delaware, U.S.A.! As usual with historical information, showing and exploring shops and having interesting street views... And not be missed, the campus grounds. Students there sure have beautiful surroundings to visit!

I was wondering if the Deer Park Restaurant was still there. Also, have you been to Newark Days on The Green at the University in September if they still hold it. Love your videos.

The 5 & 10 store I think is the only thing thats the original on Main Street. Is the Deer Park Tavern still there?

@@terrijofilms305 look up deer park tavern Newark Delaware. You will see how old the building is. Plus they have the best nachos in town.
@@furbabiesarefamilytoo Long time former Newark resident with memories of the Deer Park from my UDel days. Just checked the Deer Park misses being an East Main Street address by two blocks
@@billmetzker225 what happened to the building where the Deer Park was? I hope they didn’t tear it down. I can’t stand that they have taken every bit of history out of Newark. It’s just sad 😢

Did you know that Duck Donuts originated in the little town of Duck in the Outer Banks of NC. Our beach house is there and I’ve actually eaten at the original Duck Donuts. Sorry it closed. Supposed to be getting one here in Florida. YAY!!!!

terri jo i don't know how far you live from main st but you would not believe the changes in the last 2 years this was a good video of e main st and i don't mean to be a creep but we don't want outsiders moving here we want to keep it this way so please don't move here it's ok to come to school here for your 4 years than go home please
Main Street is just not the same. They removed everything with any culture. The State theater, the Diner, Stone Balloon. It’s a shame what they’ve done. I used to cruise Main Street back in the day and went to the State theater every weekend to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Oh yeah Bings Bakery too. I hate progress
Hello Jenn, I forgot Newark was your hometown. I’m sorry the Main Street strip isn’t how you remember it. There’s a Five Guys and Starbucks on Main Street as well but I edited those clips due to copyright; music was blaring in cars passing by. I didn’t see a Deer Park Tavern. Also, at Academy & Main (5:08) there’s a historic green building with a flag draped on the front; there’s construction at that site. It’s gonna be a Hyatt hotel. 🥺
