Fantastic, something that has been needed for ages, I did the original seasons textures for FarmSim a while back and always thought both FS202 and 2024 lacked enough variation, but modding them myself was a step beyond my abilities, so happy to see these, I bought it before the video was halfway through!
@@MSFS2024Update Very much like the new look, but I still notice a prepnderance of coastal trees in my part of the UK which is the west wales coast, although a few parts do have trees, they are confied to ares sheltered from the prevailing southwesterly winds, none on the seashore or cliff tops. I don't know how MSFS places trees though, but I suspect it is a mix of interpreting image data and random scattering, most image data would in actuality be gorse bushes, the random thing I guess would be an exclusion or similar to fix. The Cherry blossom in Japan during April looked fantastic, super job.
they should pay guys like you to bring the work in house as some aspects of your work is about correcting their imperfections as well as adding in new content.
I appreciate your kind words! However, I'm happy to remain independent, as it allows me to create without constraints of a big company. This way, I can focus on delivering high-quality add-ons, rather than risking them being rushed or incomplete.
Arcane why are you telling this guy this. He doesn't work for Microsoft. He's offering a solution that he did himself. If you don't wanna pay for it DONT. Don't get on his case for offering a solution that he should be justly compensated for.
Sorry it was late last night. I know he doesn't work for Microsoft. That was obvious, otherwise it would have been really bad, lol. I have since edited my comment after reading back it does look like I didn't make it clear that I knew this. Thanks
Hello, as a point of order, your changelog indicates that you've removed pine forests from Texas. There are pine forests in Texas IRL - I live on the outskirts of one, the Sam Houston National Forest. East Texas is also famous for the Angelina National Forest and the Pineywoods area.
My approach involves manually removing Photogrammetry from trees and small houses only, as they often appear merged and distorted, while preserving main high-rises, buildings, iconic and important structures. I also remove spiky mountains and forests.
Wonderful! Can’t wait to get it and install it! I had it in 2020 and loved it so much. Is there any upgrade or discount for previous version owners? I hope you did or will do Toronto, as there’s some ridiculously giant trees sticking out of the downtown skyscrapers lol!
"Removed trees from Faroe Islands". That line alone has peaked my interest in this add-on. :) Although 2024 greatly improves on trees, there are still some inacuracies and the photogrammetry trees really bother me in most cities. The other day I was flying in Paris and there was this one tree that had the size of a sequoya next to the Seine River. It killed the immersion.
Hi Bijan very good job!!! I really hate those PG Trees in the SIM! Can you have a look at the Bern area (Airport ICAO is LSZB). If you can remove those trees I'll be pleased to buy your mod.
Hi, thank you for your work with this mod. I have purchased it. However, I have been unable to use it in MSFS2024, as the sim crashes every time I start a flight when I have the mod folder enabled via the addons linker; when I remove the link to the mod, flights load OK. The downloaded folder for your mod is not in the community folder, it's in the simmarket folder and linked using addons linker. Am I doing something wrong with the installation?
@@MSFS2024Update Hi, thank you for the quick reply. I have put the folder into the community folder and all is now OK. I am still surprised that I could not use addon linker to link the folder rather than have to put it into the community itself.
I bought it and I believe it's working, essentially it was downloaded and extracted... Thats it? No manual install or community folder file? Did I do this correctly?
I just did this also today. It extracts and created a folder in my downloads folder, but was not near the top so search for it and place it in your community folder.
The best program to unzip it if it doesn't extract automatically is 7zip or winrar. Once extracted, place entire folder in community folder. Also read install.txt. Thank you all and happy new year and enjoy.
We shouldn't have to pay for what is essentially shoddy code. Why are there collapsed bridges, buildings that look like WW2 happened and trees in the middle of the road? Good job on the realism and colours, but the basic things like trees looking like PS1 graphics from an indie game is not acceptable from Microsoft. Especially as some of them had a high res tree inside the weird shapes. It looks like a lot of data is just corrupt for some areas or too low res for the code to pick out what it's supposed to be. It should at least know that a tree or bush doesn't belong where there's a road, path or railway line
@@MSFS2024Update Yeah I get that. (I've re-edited my comment as it wasn't clear that it wasn't you I was mad at). Just having a rant at Microsoft/Asobo for allowing a situation where other parties have to resort to fixing their work. I appreciate that you are not doing anything bad.
When you try to recreate the entire world it is going to have issues at ground level. 3rd party developers are what have always made fight sims great. Look at it like this, microsoft/asobo provide a base platform that other people can develop on. @ArcanePath360
okey, it is not acceptable. What are you gonna do. Protest. Complain. I mean you unthankful piece of... It is good to be critical, but if you are unsatisfied with supply, don't type your frustration. Do something about it.

Brilliant job, I already have accuseasons and not sure if the two would run alongside each other. Well done. Looks far better.
Thank you. My previous season pack 8 was for MSFS 2020 but this one only for MSFS 2024. Accu doesn't have anything for MSFS 2024 as far as I know.

The forest part stays. I made the correction in the text to "removed PART OF pine forest from Texas. Thank you for your feedback.
The photogrammetry spike trees removal, like in Vancouver, is that global/procedural or hand-made in a few specific areas?

Yes, I believe that tree is removed. I removed few ones from other cities as well. Thank you for your comment.

I will. Lots of bad photogrammetry in there to clean up.

In MSFS2024, most hedgerows appear as tall trees in England. Does this mod improve the situation?
It does. There are parts of the video from UK that showcase this.

@701Builder ahhh I'll give that a shot, I sorted through date and time and didn't see anything. I'll check again. Thank you.
Just extract and place the whole folder in community folder. Please refer to install.txt file for details and how to verify install.
@KauaiGarden I just have to find the extracted folder. For some reason it's not showing. I'll figure it out. Thank you happy new year
