"We're back, we're bad, you're black, I'm mad." The Lethal Weapon franchise does a great job of building a world. Each movie adds to the next as they blend comedy and action so perfectly well. Also, this is one of those rare series where every sequel is solid. I'm 100% sure you'll enjoy the last 2 as well.
So glad you ladies watched part 2. I still enjoy this 1 just as much as the first. To answer your question, you do get more of the Murtaugh family element in part 3, it's quite a good story. The chemistry between Riggs and Murtaugh is quite good in these films. You also were curious about another love interest, but I won't give anything away :) I loved how you both cracked up at the commercial scene, and this 1 did have more humor with the addition of Joe Pesci. Always a joy to watch your reactions and Merry Christmas 🎄😊
Joe Pesci's character(Leo) was one of the best comic reliefs in movie history. Funny how after this he played a bunch of tough guy rolls. ie Casino and Good Felles. What a contrast. Fun fact...he created the " okay, okay, okay"which was not in the script, from young teenage girl lingual he observed while on vaction at disney land.
Natalie, Michelle, I really enjoyed your Lethal Weapon 2 reaction. You both had so much fun with this one. I hope you continue with the franchaise. Wishing you both a very Merry Christmas.
Did you notice Jeanette Goldstein in the precinct during the straight jacket escape scene? She played Vasquez in "ALIENS" (1986), a vampire in "Near Dark" (1987), then some small roles in "Max Headroom" (1987), "Miracle Mile" (1988), then LW2 and finally the stepmother to John Conner in "Terminator 2" (1991). What's stranger is that she is playing as literal extra in the film since she doesn't have any voice lines until her death. "ALIENS" was in 1986, so she should be an extra in any film after that. Patsy Kensit played Rigg's girlfriend that dies. She was the former lead singer for the excellent 80s band, Eighth Wonder, before moving on to acting. The first and second "Lethal Weapon" films are a perfect combination of action, comedy and drama. Very much like Jackie Chan's "Police Story 1 and 2", which are technically one whole film. They are a must watch for you gals in the near future since you love the two "Lethal" films. All of Jackie's movies from the 80s and 90s were absolute classics.
This whole 4 movie set is the perfect kind of character progression, storytelling, action and (forgive me for using this word) tenderness that you could ask for from a "family film". Some people only like specific movies from the set, but I frankly love them all! The entire story comes "full circle" in many ways. I make sure to watch all 4 movies at least once a year.
That's two Bromance movies I've seen from y'all today. First Die Hard and now Lethal Weapon 2. Feeling the bromance. I feel like y'all liked this one. Can't wait to see y'alls Lethal Weapon 3. I enjoyed watching. Thank you and Merry Christmas, Michelle and Natalie! And Merry Christmas to my fellow Force Of Life Entertainment family!
"Diplomatic immunity." "IT'S JUST BEEN REVOKED!" This is, in my opinion, the best of the franchise. When people think or parody the Lethal Weapon franchise, they're really thinking or parodying this movie above all others. Fun Fact: The body count is thirty-three, the highest of the Lethal Weapon franchise. What Script Fact: Jack McGee ad-libbed his line about the condom commercial during rehearsals. The cast and crew liked it so much, it was kept in the film. Historical Fact: Despite the film's "Free South Africa" stance, it was passed uncut by the South African censors and became a major financial success in that country. This wasn't much of a surprise, since apartheid was already on the outs anyway and ended on June 17, 1991. That's Hot Fact: Patsy Kensit claimed the sex scene was great but also kind of disappointing. While she had to strip for the scene, Mel Gibson was allowed to keep some things to himself. She confessed: "When we did a love scene, I was buck-naked, but he had his modesty pouch thing. So I didn't see it, and I didn't look. But he was a great kisser."
This is one of the rare francishes where every movie is good. Also, in each movie they add a new character which usually kills the dynamic of the main characters, but they made it work.
Without disclosing anything, you get introduced to another recurring major character in Lethal Weapon 3. I'm betting that both of you will like "3" better than "2".
11:50 - here we have the Nakatomi Plaza in the background to remind you that even on Lethal Weapon, there is no Christmas without Hans Gruber falling out of the window! merry Christmas everyone! 🎄
Thank you Lovely Ladies For Your Amazing Reaction to Lethal weapon 2 as Always Keep up the Great Amazing work and Have a Fabulous Merry Christmas and a Wonderful Amazing Happy New year
I really enjoy the way you beautiful ladies react to the Lethal Weapon movies. This was fun to watch and I promise that they get better. I love yall and I look forward to the next review. ❤❤❤❤ Happy holidays!
The family dynamic gets stronger not weaker & I like 3 & 4 more than 1 & 2 & I really like 1 & 2. Do not stop, carry on. You will not regret it. Have a wonderful Holiday.
First of all, Merry Christmas to you and thanks for you reaction to this movie. I'd say this is my favorite one because of the pacing and the characters, but just for a bit. Joe Pesci was a nice introduction and the closure of Martin's tragedy with his wife. Also, being a teenager when this came out and Patsy Kensit together were an explosive mixture 🤣
At 15:10: Michelle: Oh, did it hit him? Natalie: I think so, unfortunately. Michelle: I don’t think that he’ll recover from that. Natalie: That’s going to leave a mark.😂 As much as much as I enjoyed the dialogue in these movies, I find some of your comments just as entertaining. ❤🏆👍🏽
Ladies the slur that the bad guys were using throughout the movie was kaffir. Which is a horrible racial slur. That was what made Roger's comment at the end kind of funny. When he said the lead bad guy was decaffeinated. You two are a lot of fun to watch and are adorable. Hope you and yours have a Merry Christmas and a very Happy, healthy and prosperous New Year. Stay safe and well.
Patsy Kensit's movie reseme is lacking, but she sure adds class & sex appeal to the movie & the inclusion of Joe Pesci was a stroke of genius from the casting directors!... ~ ( Hoping you continue on the Lethal Weapon train, as the next 2 are a blast as well... ) ~ Also part 5 is still said to be in the works, under the helm of Mel Gibson himself...
Some cheesey lines with good fun and violence plus things blowing up. And Patsy Kensit who was the love/lust interest. I've had a major major crush on this lady since first seeing her in the 80's. Michelle and Natalie I'm pretty sure you will enjoy the others even with the cheesey lines. Another lovely flash back so Thank You and Cheer's Beautiful Ladies.xx Plus Merry Christmas and Exorcist 3 in the new year would be marvelous.
Hollywood doesn't want to make movies like this anymore, and it's their loss. But thanks to physical media, we can enjoy films when Hollywood actually did care.
For a second Michelle I thought you had tattoos on your arms until I realized it was your sweater. Nice video ladies and Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones.
My favorite in the series, you can tell the cast is far more comfortable in their roles and Riggs and Murtaugh are equally great. Then you add in Joe Pesci who becomes this adorable sidekick to them and it's just fantastic.
This editing really made Mel's Australian accent stand out. I remember it being less prominent in the sequel, but this is making it sound worse than in the original. The first one is clearly the best. The rest drop drama for humor, are more preachy, and don't feature the main characters getting to know and like each other as you're getting to know and like them. All 4 are enjoyable, but the first is the best.
Cannot wait until you watch part 3 and ultimately 4. Because they are all interconnected and are a fun ride that we do not get anymore! Not sure what to expect from the 5th movie, but hoping it holds up to what built the franchise, and made it successful!
You might want to watch some Larry Fine, Moe and Joe Howard before the next one. There also Shimp Howard and one other that were in the trio at other times. I do know just one had 4 with the fourth as an extra. Better known as the Three Stooges. Many are shorts and you don't need to do many but their classic comedy does feed into the next one. Again Merry Christmas.
the only one I'm not crazy about is the 4th one, its still good for what it is. My personal fav is the 3rd one, but its the only one i saw in the theater and the first one i saw. Merry Christmas!!! I've heard rumor they are doing a 5th one directed by Mel.
❤️👍🏼 If Natalie decides to make the meatballs how about substituting Krustaez Belgian waffle mix for Bisquick. Maybe I would attempt one day if sent the recipe. Is it just me or does Joe Pesci as funny he is in the this one, become the Jar Jar Binks of the Lethal Weapon franchise 🤔❓ As far as my favorite Christmas movies comedic ones tied between CHRISTMAS VACATION and CHRISTMAS STORY and regular IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE and I hope one day I will be blessed to feel like George Bailey did at the end of film. SIDE NOTE: IMO DIE HARD is not a Christmas movie because the holiday is not the central focus with that spirit. It is an action movie that takes place during Christmas. I love it and some sequels
Great reaction to the greatest Lethal Weapon film. I love the plot twist and stakes in this film. It is definitely better than the first. Hope you both have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. If you both want another movie starring Joss Ackland (Arden Rudd) the bad guy as another antagonist. I recommend "Nowhere To Run" a great 1993 action caper starring Jean Claude Van Damme as the films protagonist. The film also stars Rosanna Arquette, Kieran Culkin and Ted Levine. A great action thriller. Finally, if you want to see another harrowing but well done film. I recommend "Breakdown" a 1997 thriller. It stars Kurt Russell, Kathleen Quinlan and the late J.T. Walsh. Both are very well done films! Thank you Natalie and Michelle for the reactions.
It's a toss up for me between which one is the best between 3 and 4. Both are good. Weird thing, they won't/can't show this one on regular tv because it shows actual Krugerrands. If you know the history of that then you know why.
Merry Christmas ladies. Love your channel. Please finish the series and watch three and four. They’re actually my favorite of the series and Leo gets funnier as it goes.
Lethal weapon 3 & 4 are my favorites But i love joe pesci' character/leo. My favorite side character 😁 I love those two guys, they were do good together its an interesting partnership. @@ForceOfLightEntertainmenthe plays such a different character from Tommy in Goodfellas but Joe really makes his mark as a comic actor here.

all 4 movies are amazing
Note to self: if I'm a henchman with a record of mediocre performance NEVER step into a room with plastic on the floor.
💯😂
If you're that bad at being a henchman, I don't think you'd pay attention to the plastic on the floor. lol

Don't you both look charming Happy Christmas thanks for your entertainment for the year ❤ xxx.
@@Cybertron-cs7sk Thank you, I try my best...oh, wait, you don't mean me. Well, Merry Christmas anyway! 🎅
K*ffir is a slur that was (maybe still is) used to insult black people in South Africa. Kind of like a certain 'N' word.
Natalie, Michelle, I really enjoyed your Lethal Weapon 2 reaction. You both had so much fun with this one. I hope you continue with the franchaise. Wishing you both a very Merry Christmas.
Riggs was actually supposed to die at the end of this film, but the studio asked Shane Black to rewrite the ending.
Glad you guys went ahead and watched this one and enjoyed it.
Have to say I’m glad you brought back your titles.
4:45 Paul Kruger was the president of South Africa during the Boar Wars.
They are a fantastic team ! Back in the day, we couldn't wait for the next one. There's 2 more ladies! We will be watching.
Merry Christmas, ladies. You truly ROCK!

Yeah, you'll get more family. The 3rd is very satisfying, you'll see. Great reaction. Merry Christmas ladies!
Re: Her care for the dog - the dog just woke them about the killers coming to Riggs' place.
With the introduction of Leo Getz, the three stooges are complete. I remember reading somewhere that was the director’s intent.
The third installment is my favorite. Rene Russo joins the family paradigm.
The first two movies are better but I always preferred the third and fourth, they're just loads of fun.
There are no misses in the entire lethal weapon franchise

When we watched this back in 89, there were no more sequels, when “knocking on heavens door” came on we although that Riggs was going to die!

The guitar plays when Riggs is on the screen, and the Sax is for Roger.
Hard to spot, maybe, but Drake and Vasquez, the colonial marines from "Aliens" are reunited in this cast.
Yes!!! Better than #1. My favorite action movie after Die Hard.
Cannot wait until you watch part 3 and ultimately 4. Because they are all interconnected and are a fun ride that we do not get anymore!

Hope you both and your families have a very merry Christmas, stay safe ♥
Merry Christmas 🙂🏴

The first Lethal Weapon was the best. Great reaction video.
After watching the LW movies. Die Hard etc a funny parody that pokes fun at all these films is Loaded Weapon 1.
The word he called Riggs about being a K... Lover is a derogatory term along negative lines. Can't say it here.

Merry Christmas 🎄
Great reaction to the greatest Lethal Weapon film. I love the plot twist and stakes in this film. It is definitely better than the first. Hope you both have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. If you both want another movie starring Joss Ackland (Arden Rudd) the bad guy as another antagonist. I recommend "Nowhere To Run" a great 1993 action caper starring Jean Claude Van Damme as the films protagonist. The film also stars Rosanna Arquette, Kieran Culkin and Ted Levine. On one of the occasions, I dislocated my shoulder. i tried that trick. It didn't work, lol
I like all four of them
You get more feelings in the third one
Believe it or not the next one is even better
It's a toss up for me between which one is the best between 3 and 4. Both are good. Weird thing, they won't/can't show this one on regular tv because it shows actual Krugerrands. If you know the history of that then you know why.
MERRY CHRISTMAS lovely ladies and there is a surprisingly familiar after in this movie 😘💖
Make sure you ladies finish the franchise!!!!! My personal favorite of them is Lethal Weapon 4 but all are top notch.
3rd is the best in my opinion
Great reaction! Part 3?
Merry Christmas Natalie and Michelle!
It is a good movie. Mel Gibson and Danny Glover are actually great friends in real life.
What old Hollywood movies from 2010 should I be watching?
Merry Christmas ladies. Love your channel. Please finish the series and watch three and four. They’re actually my favorite of the series and Leo gets funnier as it goes.
Thank you!! Merry Christmas 🎄
Lethal weapon 3 & 4 are my favorites
But i love joe pesci' character/leo.

I love those two guys, they were do good together its an interesting partnership. They kinda balance each other out
Makes you wonder how the wife forgave him for destroying her station wagon. 🤔
It's a condom commercial lol.
Poor murtauch is like WTF lol
I feel sorry for that poor car. It went through so much
Yes you definitely get alot more family in #3 and #4. Please watch them all.
It's time for some more saxophone music for you lovely ladies.
Thanks for a great year of awesome content from the both of you and have a great Christmas 🎄tomorrow!
Thank you so much!! Merry Christmas to you!! God bless you!
If you enjoyed leo, dont worry, you've not seen the last of him.
the next one is more like the second one than the first one, it's a nice conclusion IMO, there are both family scenes and action.
And just a info, something that few people know, in the third movie you have to get to the end of the credits and an extra of the final scene of the movie appears.
Patsy Kensit's accent is....interesting

3&4 more story lines more characters and more laughs
