- New York City Times is Samscene3D's first city scenery beyond Asia for MSFS, it is also in the series after Shanghai and Hong Kong.
A re-design of New York city area according to geographical position of objects. We bring out the best of MSFS in build photogrammetry around the city area, by fixing
textures, structure and added back many missing buildings and features.
The main objective of this scenery is to show MSFS's USA photogrammetry at its best, with addition of feature buildings to further enhance the simulation experience.

statues, university, hospital, landmarks etc in New York Manhattan city center, including lower,central and upper parts.

6. beautiful night effects
7. many buildings and objects built with LOD function to keep frame rate friendly
8. simple heliport design in Manhattan city
9. high detailed design of Manhattan bridge, Brooklyn bridge, Williamsburg bridge and Queensboro bridge with animtated moving cable cars
10. added so many missing iconic buildings to the default MSFS USA photogrammetry scenery

As soon as i get used to MSFS2020 im a get this scenery, is there any chance that the empire state building lights can change colors according to holidays sport events etc, like 4th of July red/white/blue and Christmas red/green, THAT WOULD BE GROOVY! it has been done before by a japanese developer but that was since FS2004 and im currently using the ESB scenery in FSX and P3Dv4
The recent update has massively improved this for me. I was struggling with framerates in VR. Now it's so much better. The stock NY is bland.. this has really brought life to it.
Wow, a lot of effort has been put into this package. The quality of the models combined with the feel of the existing photogrammetry makes for a stunning location!

Samscene, you guys are amazing! I am in love with this scenario and would love to use it with an exception of the One World Trade Center similar to the Hong Kong Scenario which excludes the Kai Tak area to place the airport add-on. An optional exclusion from One World Trade Center could open up opportunity to use the Twin Towers and that would be remarkable for me and others as well.

Good spit arkantos82! Love Hawaii. The Orbx roadmap has Honolulu, Oahu, USA in development - they did a version for P3D so you can pop over to their website to see what it might look like.

Nah. They put a fictional Fenway there instead. Yankee Stadium would have just stunk up the place... as it does IRL. :-)

@@samscene3dx I've just bought this now and the Empire State building is about 400ft too short. I flew right past the top and my altimeter read 1050ft but the building is 1454ft tall at the top of the antenna.

Thinking the same thing. The ESB, Chrysler and several other buildings just look off. It might be because they're assets modeled from scratch. They should've just improved the building textures instead of trying to remodel the entire city themselves

Both photogrammetry turn on or off also can use this scenery well
Well done, unfortunately an ugly mistake:
The "New York Marriott" in downtown is offset on Albany St.
So the vehicles drive over the building ... looks really stupid
this has been fixed you can download it again
I just purchased this on the marketplace , I have a 5900x & 3080 but it really kills FPS with LOD 200 and won't even fly in VR. Is that normal or has something gone worng with my download ?
the fps will be improved in the next update

And the blenders go up and down sometimes in the middle of maybe too. Dangaroo.
The shish kebabs move quiet sometimes I’m perhaps red but fish moon so ok
With this addon MSFS20 hangs upon loading and I have to quit the sim thru Task Manager.
As soon as I uninstall the scenery in orbx central, the Sim loads right up.
Hope to see a fix.

I live in NYC and this is NOT how most of these new buildings look like. What a lousy job.
I bought samscene 3d hong kong and shanghai on the series x today and they are both horrible I am so disappointed I want my 40 dollars back I am extremely upset thos add on has the terrible Pop in and the graphics suck the cities aren't even clear like they use to be I hope I can Delete them I will NEVER EVER buy another samscene 3d anything after this

The download is messed up on my series x. All the assets you worked on are showing as pink on the map. Whats your email or twitter so i can share a picture with you? I know when the download completed it was having trouble decompressing so it went back to downloding over and over. Restarted game and says installed and up to date in game but when i fly everything you worked on has a pink frame to it

Downloading samscene-sightseeing-newyorkcitytimes .zip 1.46GB after buying it directly. What about future updates? Like things go wrong like they did with Sim Update 5?
To be fair that rarely happens with the scenery. I have London Landmarks deleted now because it doesn't load in from EGLC in Sim Update 5 but all my other scenery is fine - and by the way this issue is only for the marketplace version and not Orbx Central. I've got a couple of Samscene products and they've both received updates so hopefully it will be ok.
this package was exported after su5 so it should not have this issue
@@samscene3dx great work. Love your New York City pack. Future improvements would be able to fly under all the bridges. I get some hits while in my Just Flight piper Turbo Arrow but no go at one with jet MB-339. One small detail, bug is lights in base of Statue of Liberty alway switch on when you get near instead of being on at night.
