- Billy sets off on his motor trike to fulfill a lifelong dream of traveling along the world's most famous highway route 66. Beginning in Chicago, he goes to the top of the Willis Tower, America's tallest building, before visiting the home of Abraham Lincoln in Illinois and meeting the state's champion pie-maker. Going off-route, Billy heads to Amish country, where he takes a horse-drawn buggy ride, and then talks to two women in St Louis whose homes were recently destroyed by a tornado.

He's just as delightful in person. I once had the pleasure of serving him at a diner in North Carolina.

He is on target with featuring the buildings of Chicago. Chicago had an 'opportunity' to rebuild everything after 1871, and some brilliant people did a whale of a job. O, and they have good music there, too.
Re that school bus, there is a business selling burgers and other things in my hometown, Oldham, uk. That works from an old American school bus like that. Its called the old school bbq bus. Ive not been to it yet but hoping to soon.

Didn't like billy Connolly very much until I saw this, but I must say, he's one of few ppl ive ever heard to say Abraham Lincoln was actually born in Kentucky. I think a lot of people forget that fact. His wife's childhood home is also in downtown Lexington
