NF has literally saved my life multiple times. His music is so relatable. How Could You leave Us is a song I can’t listen to without crying
Stay strong dude. Even at our lowest we are not as alone as we feel!
The "journey" is suggested primarily for the benefit of you, the reactor, hearing the songs for the first time. There are so many call-backs and things that he ties back to previous songs that it just makes the most sense. I haven't seen a reactor yet that has been disappointed in taking the journey, and his fans will always take it along side you. It's like suggesting an artist or song to one of your friends and then being able to see how the feel about it. Enjoy the reactions!
NF always keeps it real. I have not seen a more honest rapper, even though he doesn't tell us everything about him, he still reveals more than any other.
NF reaches people at the core. It is great seeing Christian rap still continuing.
NF is at another level, to be clear tho, he has stated many times that he is a lyricist who is Christian, not wanting to be categorized as a Christian rapper, he spits that towards the end of Therapy Session as well “this isn’t just for the people who sit in the pews or pray at the churches”
@@mattkreutz2303 I understand this meaning but I am older and listened to gangsta rapper T Bone. He lived the hood. A Christian rapper or a Christian who just happens to rap. You see its about being a part of an imperfect body of believers not the four walls of a church. Rapping realness is baring all AND being willing to love and accept all just as they are.
@@troydruckenmiller1751 many many years ago when I was trying to stop listening to secular rap and move to CHH. T-Bone and Gospel Gangstaz come to mind as the CHH artist that got me through it back then. Yes the CHH scene now is very talented and has grown eminsly.
Oh Snap indeed Rosalie! This is why I LOVE this track. It's those beautiful heart wrenching inflections of agony in such a beautiful tone. It gets me right in my solar plexus. I feel it like a punch 👊 😢

In my personal opinion i feel like the NF "journey" is like reading a book and each of his songs are like chapters. Sure you can listen and enjoy the songs randomly but doing it in order you get a deeper understanding of him and his message. You learn of his struggles, his emotions, his fears, his doubts, and we get to witness his personal growth overcoming his hardships from one album to the next. Love your reactions and analysis keep at it :)

Was in a bit of a rough patch last night. One listen of this song and it showed me no one can take away who I am, what my identity is, who I am in God's eyes. All I Have is a song that shows people stay away from who I am, my identity is All I've got. I guess I just needed a reminder that I'm loved by others and it doesn't matter what people say to you, they can't take your identity. Great reaction tho, felt that
YES! Yes! It does not matter what people say, especially not those who are not invested in you. All that matters is what the one who formed you says. You were such a good idea to Him, that He made you. created for a purpose! loved by Him and others. No one can take your identity. well said. speak truth!
Sometimes it is hard to see who we are in Gods eyes. Remember this brother. It doesn't matter if you were the only person that the Lord could have died on that cross for. He would have looked into the future seen you and done it. You are that important to him. We all are. He wants good things for your life.
One bad day isn’t the end of the world. Stay strong and be a good human, being humble during adversity is a strength that way to many people lack.
Rosalie, you are such an empath. You feel him so fully. You celebrate his highs and morn his lows. Please do not cave to the pressure on How could you leave us. Take your time, get there when you are ready to get there. As a survivor of childhood abuse and trauma I can tell you, it hits really hard to anyone, but to those who've had not the best childhoods, it really hits hard. I remember you saying in your Therapy reaction that the "take your hat off when I'm speaking to you" line in a way flashed you back into your past memories. I worry so much about an empath like you doing a live reaction to that kind of song. I also know that you will do it. Something about how you carry yourself tells me that you feel the pull, and you will jump right in. Please, take your time. Maybe have some item on your desk that day that grounds you, next to the box of tissues for sure. If you practice, meditate before the song and then carve out some extra time away from the camera to feel all the things it will make you feel, take care of yourself for the rest of that day if needed. We're here. We got you.

This is why NF is my absolute favorite music artist because he is real, he is true, and he touches your heart to the core with all his music!
That's my all time fave song. This can relate to anyone too. Whatever your passion is, noone can take it from you. Noone can tell you that it's not real or it's not how you feel.
Nf has been a really big part in my life helping get through some rough times thank you for going on this journey the song "bullet" is a very important one for me personally I would really recommend hearing it thank you
I love nf for so many obvious reasons.. (too many to list) but the fact that he actually has such a good singing voice is just icing on the cake for me aH I love when he starts SANGIN’ SANGIN’ lol i really really enjoy your reactions. Just listening to you talk as a person is entertaining and therapeutic so getting to hear you AND Nates music together is just such a breath of fresh air for me. I’ve always been an anxious person and lately my anxiety has quadrupled bc of how messed up the world has become lately. Feels like I can’t go a second without seeing something horrific or hearing ab yet another tragedy.. so it’s been nearly impossible to find something to give me relief and bring me a moments peace but bc of ppl like you and nate- I have found something to look forward to, no matter how brief it maybe, I appreciate every single second my mind and heart gets to take a break from all the darkness. So thank you and I can’t wait for more.

Yay, was waiting for this. I am very much like NF, I have gone through a lot of the same things that he has. Last year I discovered him and it helped me immensely.. it really is different, his ability to describe feelings and to personify them. You can feel every word he says. I would love to sit and talk with him. You need to watch an interview with him! You can really see how genuine he is off stage as well

You need to do a reaction video to Story from NF. Never heard a trauma told so beautifully.
The line where he says " I don't think they see my vision here" I feel he is saying 2 things. Remember he repeats it. 1 he is saying they don't see why I'm doing this and he already has this "blueprint" laid out, a d people can't see why he shares what he shares. 2 also there is a saying, "you can't see through a other person's eyes, saying you haven't seen all that I been through in m life so you can't judge me. Which is why he puts his poetry and journal if you will, to music. That's how I see it anyway.

I've watched a lot of reactors, and a lot of reactions. You are fantastic, and I hope you stick with it until you're inevitably large. You're incredibly expressive, authentic, and emotional. You're a great NF reactor, and I hope you continue on with him [unfortunately a lot of the songs early on in the journey are not my favorites], but I'd be interested to see your reactions to songs like Eminem - Darkness [which is more of a double and triple entendre masterpiece of a song, and it's also very emotional/triggering], or Falling in Reverse - Popular Monster [which isn't so much emotional as it is a rollercoaster of a song, and I think you'll just enjoy the mash-up of it.]

I am sure the Christian music executives wanted NF to stick with Christian music. NF did sign with the Christian division of Capital Records. I just imagine how they were trying to point him create Christian music and I think NF was telling them he doesn't see himself making Christian music, but he wants to be a Hip Hop mainstream artist. I think this song is talking about the frustration of this process. It also shows us the character of NF because even though he dreamed of writing Hip Hop he still wants to bring his Faith along. Pretty strong convictions in the face of the so-called experts. It would have been so easy to stick with Christian themed music, but NF had a higher calling. Or to start producing the kind of HIp Hop that sells versus real music.
