LEGO Snow Plow Train: working and clearing snow
Вставка

- I've started building my LEGO Snow Plow two years ago (over on my German channel) and thought I'd share the process and how it functions in a short fun little video with you :)
this man hiked a 2000 foot mountain to run a lego train what a legend
Not trying to be the guy who knows everything better but actually he hiked a 6500 foot mountain which makes him the ultimate legend, haha
@@letuten my brain: in terms of math, we have no math
2000 meters lol
Only he would
Metres*
I used to love LEGO trains as a kid, and I even had a yellow train just like this one. Wonderful video :)
Meinst du den Gelben Güterzugtriebwagen?
Ich glaube schon
@@zip_makes_maps9636 Okay.
Sam
Same here it was one of my first Lego train with the green cargo one
What an amazing creation :)
Wow beautiful
Yup
Love how you spend all day on this and also got your friends to come along. This put a huge smile on my face 😊😁
Congratulations to you for making it work 🎉
here in the US, I've seen people with indoor/outdoor model train tracks use their own snow trains to clear the tracks for use in the winter. If your new space allows for it, it might be fun to run a section of track outside for snow clearing demonstrations in the winter.
No that don‘t work because in Front of the Building is the street and they aren‘t allowed to break the main walls.
@@Jocraft2039 He could build a train / road crossing where the cars have to wait for the tiny train to pass.. 😁
Is. The. Trener. Siging
One of my bestfriends is a train conductor and he just sent me a snap of him in the snow clearing train and showing it in use. Absolutely massive!
I'm impressed how well you got it to work. It's actually keeping almost all of the snow it blows off of the completely vertical faces on the side of the train.
I love how it looks when the propeller spins up!
That's so cool, didn't expect it to work that well!
“Hey friends! Let’s go climb a 2,000 foot mountain to drive my Lego train in the snow!” Friends: 🥶
But that’s so awesome! Now you need a moc to fit your Lego snowplow!
2000 meters. 6000 foot
Living the dream.
Yeah! /s
He is German so no Problem
@@Jocraft2039 I think he's Austrian
A drilling machine to make a snow tunnel would be so cool!!
On real trains, the rotating piece is called a rotor, or an impeller. To get through sections of track where the snow is too deep, they run forward until the impeller starts to bog down, then they back away until it gets back up to speed, and then move forward again. The biggest error in your design, however, is that the plow car should send all of its power to the impeller and have a separate, normal locomotive pushing it to move forward. The plow itself should not have powered wheels.
It's pretty cool, like the adaptations to make it better, one way that I can see the propeller connecting into the snow better is to have a pointed tip if possible I think that would allow the propeller to push into the snow slightly better but then again it clears the snow anyway and seems to work perfectly 👍
What an amazing and cool idea! I really like the design!
Nice build! I always love your videos!
Cheers, from Poland! 😁
The dedication to your craft is amazing.
This is so cool! I’ve watched this on your German channel but I didn’t understand a thing. Now that you have uploaded this on your English Channel I can see what’s going on. This is amazing!
This is awesome! And I also think with this thick snow covering already layed tracks it would be interesting to build a boring machine, to make tunnels in snow!
Cool project, I love that you brought it with you on a ski trip up a mountain to test it in natural conditions.
I really wouldn't have thought that any lego MOC in Kombination with real Water could properly Work, so this was a very pleasant suprise, good Job!
i read the title as
LEGO snow plow train: CLEARLY WORKING
Wow! It would be much less fun of course, but have you ever tried a regular wedge-shaped snowplough?
no, not yet :)
@@Brick_Crafts Why not combine it with the rotor, so the rotor breaks down the snow and the plough clears away what's left?
@@Brick_Crafts do a lawnmower next lol
@@billbob3998 Oder eine funktionierende LEGO-Tunnelbohrmaschine.
The reason why this design of spinning plough was created was that it meant you didn't have to ram the snow, you could just keep moving
"How does this, not have a million views🤯"
Very different video from the others. Educational and Entertaining nonetheless 👏👏👏
Love it 😄
You look at the old steam engines, fitted with their snow ploughs in the bad UK snows of the 50s and they did amazing work. Modern ones just cant compete.
Beautiful, thing like this make me love Lego even more than i do. I don't think i'll ever stop buying them nor watching this kind of videos. They're part of me. Great video!
It's always good to have friends that say "That's crazy - let's go!"
Very amazing creation!
your youtube channel brings me so much joy
everything you do is so cool and your friends seem great! thanks for all the creative, hard work that you do... can't wait to see what's next
This is such a cool video. I love that you went up the mountain to get that nice powder. That forest run looks fun.
I just love trains, and the fact that you use trains so much in your projects, it just makes me feel so happy😄
You are crazy with your builds, I think lego should hire you because you are so creative when it comes to this, and if there is a problem you fix it
This is really cool I would never be able to do something like this:)
I've seen someone years ago do this, they had the same amount of snow ❄️ and built a lego town in dire need. Guy used a special plow took forever to move that much but saved the lego town
"They all thought I was crazy but they all agreed!" Love it!
I love this soo cool u did great. love making stuff in LEGO and MOC bricks
I use to love trains lego when they actually add snow on the railway even though it is really creative!
A tunnel bor train would be epic :o
You could make a Snow Area in your LEGO City with Penguins, Polar bears, Snow Men, Santa's Workshop, People skiing and so much other stuff!!
This one is so interesting. Coming from Australia where it has literally never snowed in my garden, I can't ever imagine doing this. 😄
Way cool...and the downhill shot was epic😎
Some odd reason... this is satisfying to watch
This is DELIGHTFUL
You should make one of those machines they use to drill tunnels through mountains and drill a tiny hole through the snow
Babe wake up, new Brickcrafts sidequest video 🤩
That would be a great addition to anyone who has an outdoor Lego railway
i always wanted to have lego trains when i was a kid, very cool vid!
That was amazing! Much love from Denmark, home of LEGO ❤
Mate that is such a unique idea, I love that!!!
Love this video. You have really good friends. Looks like a lot of fun!
Thats really Unique idea!
Wow awesome snowplow!
Everychilds Dream:
Pls do more more snowplows
That is absolutely brilliant. I have recently started my Lego collection so I only have a few small sets, in fact I just put together a small mandalorian and tiny razorcrest last night
This is very awesome!
Love this!!
Thank you very much this made my day and considering that it’s finals week thats saying something
Altes Footage + neue Kommentierung = easy profit XD
Ski tour is the best of skies!
You have to respect the dedication! Keep up the incredible work
Why are Legos so cool? 😄
Tbh those looked like some 🔥 pow laps
This guy literally climbed a mountain to play with lego. Respect
Very cool how well it worked😊
The beginning was so funny to me idk why😂
I only found this channel a few days ago but i gotta say
you never fail to amaze me
Now I just need a life-sized lego snowblower to keep my driveway clear for the winter.
3:15 damn bro, good form through that powder!
Those are some good friends man.
Awesome video... and amazed by you incredible skiing skills :)
Damn dude that's so awesome you deserve more subs
The interesting thing about rotary snow plows is that no matter how much snow there is there's always multiple locomotives pushing.
Amazing and interesting.
Just some ideas:
- the train should be heavy for more traction
- the rotor should be kind of screw-shaped so that it does not hit the snow with its full cross sectional area but with a tip increasing in diameter, thus making penetration much easier - kind of like a drill.
I think it’s time for me to ski resort knowing your skills it would be amazing
This is beautiful
Wow, hiking to the top of a mountain to test a Lego snow plow train is dedication!
ok this is epic
Legos, Trains, ski touring… did we just become best friends? Yup!
Cool train and congrats on the growth of this channel!
make a part in your lego world that has a train plowing real snow!that would be AWSOME
I loved the german video
you know what would be interesting ? making the train collect snow compressing it into a brick and throw them out of the side like a hay bale machine but with snow
Good work!!! Excellent!!!
That's awesome. I remember I used to build snow plows n pushers out of knex during the winter.
So fun creation ❤
A snowy new town would be nice to it.
Great video!!!!! If you could continue to incorporate more past videos or work from your German channel, but translated to English, that'd be great! It'd give this channel more content.
Not a lego person, I just stumbled on your channel and found it very interesting 👍 I enjoyed your video 💯
Nice work! The next time you need to hike/ski up to nature, use a Pelican case to transport your builds so it survives the travel.
Good job my friend!
Get a bit of silicone lube on the gears and shafts to reduce running friction, Looks awesome
That is so cool!. Sorry I mean getting 12 inches of snow overnight. We shut down with a light dusting over here in the UK.
No ones talking about his skiing skills
I know right- dude has fucking beautiful technique
Wow! That is amazing 🎉
When you move over to the Lego museum, you could make a snow area/ winter village scene where that train might fit into clear train tracks to get there from the main city :)
amazing !!!
it is, i've never seen something impressive snow-plow MOC before
Hi, Love the Channel .
With all the new addition you should make a new: "Train ride through my LEGO City" video.
Would be great to see. :)
Add a bigger drill to the train so you can build a tunnel through the snow!
Then change the drill for a metal one and power it with buwizz/buggy motors so you can have a gyrodancing train.
Wow this is actually really cool, nice 👍🏾
