I bought Malik Al Taif & Siberian Musk. Love them both. I have watched all your videos and you are doing a good job... Keep up the good work. Can you please do a Best Rose & Musk perfume videos since there's a lot of new one's available since you did your last one.
I adore the Ambergris note, so have a natural affinity towards Baikal Gris. While Ambergris is not a difficult ingredient to use in compositions, as it blends well with almost any non-citrus notes, I love the supporting notes that Russian Adam chose for this attar which gives it an ethereal airy feel - a light whiff of this is how I imagine how nature smells like on top of an evergreen wooded mountain. An over application of this can cause nose fatigue. Wish I could have gotten the opportunity to purchase the Malik Al Taif, as it was the first attar which went out of stock when Russian Adam had released these Attars. How prevalent is the Saffron note in this composition, because this Attar checks all of my favourite ingredients - Rose + Sandalwood + Musk + Oud. I am going to be curious to know how Russian Adam's Malik Al Taif compares to Ensar's Ghalia (currently in a status of pre-order, with a ship date of May 25th), which also has a combination of the same ingredients but is four times more expensive. Once again thank you Nikhil. Looking forward to your review of the remaining three Attars.
Especially after IFRA Guidelines, most of my favorite EDTs and EDPs have gone to shit. Parfum versions from Dior and Channel are ridiculously priced. In such a scenario attars are the only thing that will surely last a day's use. Thanks a ton for doing such good videos and educating the audience about Attars!
I loved it. Smell is so subjective. It’s certainly unique but I never understood why it was considered challenging. I loved wearing it on actual hikes where it just seamed correct. This was my first bottle containing real ambergris and the included poem added a nice punch to it.
