Excellent review! I’ve tried several samples from Ensar Oud, I must admit, they have all been beautiful, bottle worthy Attars and ouds. I went for a bottle of EO1 and I absolutely love it, as you said it was just like the Attar. Borneo Zen is incredibly beautiful also, I was only able to get a sample though, it sold out so quickly! Ensar Oud has definitely the finest packaging. Your challenge in this video it is that you are trying to describe perfection with a huge dose of mystery and deliciousness, that is how deer musk feels to me.
EO2 EDP is an interesting experience. I am not liking it so far because it's too umami on my skin. I need to test it further and maybe revisit it in the future if my nose and palette changes. I've heard about this fake musk/ bold claim through basenotes. Hope to understand what this is about eventually.
Perfume Guru, I did not mean in any way to put you down. You've always told your audience when you've been gifted Oils, Parfums etc. because you are an honest person. I meant that many UA-camrs are given items which is part of UA-cams perks. That's not the issue here at all. I hope it didn't come through that way because I consider you my favorite UA-cam Fragrance Teacher. I've learned so much about Oud , Sandalwood, real Musk + so much more. My comment was asking you to review some lower priced Attars, Mukhallats, Parfums, Oils , of Ouds, etc. under $400 . That's all. Great video .3 yrs ago I bought musk oils -both dark and white from Yas perfume Dubai The dark musk is very absolutely in its own category u love it’s smell and to me it doesn’t smell like shit urine etc but only one dab is enough I’m looking in ordering no 2 and the Borneo 3000 Wanting to ask if you have done any reviews in Yas perfumes
Got a 2.5 ml decant of the parfum a couple of weeks back. A bit disappointed the drydown is animalic but not pleasant. Maybe i have to try it a few times to appreciate it. I love animalics and Siberian Musk of ALD of which i have a tiny decant is the benchmark for me on musks. It is awesome! Got the Musc 1984 and the 2.5 ml tincture too 😉

I got some genuine Siberian musk from a Russian deer farm and that thing is way too diff from what we are being sold as musk perfumes tbh I was only known to these expensive synthetic musk perfumes and there was this basic aroma of musk in my mind but the way I smelled the real grains it was completely diff those animalic dirty a bit urinary notes with that sweet medicinal aroma it just smelled like heaven as I was completely aware with some really pungent ouds like hindi qadeem by mohd ayub Colaba wale and some hindi ouds by Arabian oud for me that scent of musk was just so heavenly it really makes a person madhosh like the scent profile is completely diff from the soapy shit that we are being sold as musk in the market it’s not at all like that basically I got them to make a tincture out of it but it’s original aroma itself is not allowing me to do so I completely agree with u that it smells like urine but that sweet notes that are present are to die for and I don’t think anything can be used as a substitute once u r familiar with the original musk

I love watching anyone who likes his hobby, be it anything. But seeing the price and following other videos on this channel I would like to know whom is this content for? Perfumery is itself a niche community and this is what probably 0.01% of us in fragcomm can afford let alone go and buy it.
So now you are saying you will smell musk out of this. A few weeks ago on live chat you said there is no musk at all. That if you wanted to smell real musk it was not in here. Would of loved if you referenced your earliest comments. It kinda bummed me out as I received my bottle same day as your live chat that you took down. So to clarify can you smell musk out of this one?

For me Oud Zen from Areej le Dore is so much better and stronger. Marketing makes everything look good and smell good. Just compare them both, I have both samples and didn't find the Pure Parfum of Ensars to be better than Adams. He's not the first to have handled real musk btw

All perfumers I know watch your reviews. But I don't accept you coinciding with Ensar and his little dig at others about real Musk not being used anywhere else, specifically Russian Musk. Whether you like it or not - that was directed at Areej Le Dore; Adam. Just let people test his No2 and any of Adams Musk Attars - his one does not even come near them

Ensar Oud is a hit or miss house. Some of their offerings are simply gorgeous and some are trash!!! Eg - Their Santal Sultan and new release Rumi are gorgeous but the others like Notes from Underground and Tonkin Musk are extremely disappointing with poor performance. And I simply cannot justify their price point. This is my take on a Ensar Oud and I have decided not to buy their spray perfumes from now on.
this one was underwhelming. I was expecting MUSK, a viril sweat pharamonic loud feel, but all i experienced was a tamed, skinscent light full hearted musk not bad not what i expected. i must have had too high of expectations still it was missing something, maybe some florals or cedrats of sorts, some faint greenery. its as if you have a sandwhich but youre missing the pickle or tomatoe or lettuce. its just not whole yet. i would say keep what it is add some top notes maybe add an extra middle floral note, not rose- its overdone. i am still very much in debt to ensar, i dont know the guy but no one ever gave me the chance to experience real musk in this red tape world. much more deserved to him than the money i paid for the sample.

Great video. I am fed up from oud fragrance and oil. I live in Saudi Arabia i don't understand how people wear oud in hot summer days here before I used to buy Arab brand fragrance now I left these oud fragrance. French and Italy brand are better offering good summer fragrance easy to wear in hot days. Arabian oud Swiss Arabia Ajmal Rasasi Hind al oud Ensar al oud all make mostly unisex fragrance. As a men I need masculine fragrance. Abdul samad Qureshi is much better brand in all of these.
I was like you at first, but now I love musk and amber fragrances more than fresh even in the night summer I do enjoy dark fragrances, they have more characters and depth.
Dr. Nick I apologize but I have to describe for you a new perfume called MBS. It has metal undertones and top notes of human blood and heart notes of bleach and phenols and base note of paint. Please do not try it.

The issue it is this Oud and natural Musk it is very expensive unless it is some type of unrelated synthetic composition.

I used shamsher, russian oud..was trying to understand musk. As you said its difficult. Should i try this if want to understand musk ?

I agree the West make better fresh summer fragrances. Ouds are great for winter climates.
